Don't Hate The Hater, Hate The Hate! - Part 13

I hate not understanding what's going on with the X-Men movies.

First you hear Matthew Vaughn is coming back to direct, then they go with Days of Future Past storyline, now Vaughn's NOT returning, and now I hear that The Wolverine is taking place AFTER the original trilogy where the X-Men have disbanding?

Maybe it's just me, but it's like they're going all over the place with these movies.

I hate that it's now 3pm, and I still haven't been told whether I have this job or not.

Just CALL MEEEEEEEEE!

I hate it when posters use abbreviations that aren't common and just expect people to be able to figure them out. How much longer would it really take to type the entire two words?

It took me far too long to realize people meant "Too long; didn't read" whenever they typed tl;dr.

How about "too short; can't freaking understand you"?

In response, try using FYATHYRIO

I'm guessing Phoenix returns and the X-Men band together for X-men 4. I think Vaughn is a better action director than Bryan Singer so that was a disappointment.

I'm actually pretty excited about Singer's Return.

X2 I'd still say is the best X-Men movie, but it was held back for the same reason as the 1st: It was embarrssed to be an X-Men movie and instead tried to mimic whichever action series was popular at the time (Matrix).

In the wake of the Avengers and First Class, I'm expecting the goodness of Singer's directing, without the embarrassment to go out and be an AWESOME unabashed X-Men film.

First Class I thought was half good. There was some REALLY great stuff and at times it felt almost like an Indie Director's/X-Men Fan's film and was fantastic. But then as it went further we got TERRIBLE action, TERRIBLE Dialogue and some pretty bad acting and effects.

The good was still good enough to warrant an "Okay", but I'd say it's on par with the first film.

Seconded.

In my case, it's the material and the way the lab instructor is handling our assignments. After writing a 15 page APA paper (which she mislead us, said it was a section of it) last week, we had to turn in another 11 paper about our study with measures, scales, etc. We haven't seen how to develop those things in class and that's what frustrates me.

I feel your pain, Youtube has alot of educational materials, if I hadn't known how to use a search function I'd be right there along with you losing my mind. I remember 2 classes like that, I had an astronomy teacher who insisted on giving everyone homework despite the fact the book was on back order for 3 weeks, and another illustration teacher who just lied her way through the interview and would casually forget to tell us what assignemtns were due on the frikin day they were due! I sit here looking at the 2 Associates of Science degrees I earned through my blood sweat and frustration (thinking to myself about entering the University) do I really want to go through this Hell again!!? Meh. I feel you, don't you want to fling that teacher through the wall everytime he or she brings up topic she or he has ill trained you if not at all? I'd go kung fu Samurai pizza flippin Ninja on someone like that!:BA

I hate it when people pronounce nuclear as nucular.

Just look how it's spelled.

Do you say "It's a cular sky today."? No. You say "It's a CLEAR sky today."!

nu-CLEAR!!!

Thanks...its appreciated. The only issue is telling the person who has no perception of reality. You wanna tell em. :yay:

If this is a person who won't listen and/or will be belligerent after you tell him to leave (give him maybe a week in writing), I would wait until he is gone one day and have the lock changed while he is gone out (you probably have to arrange this with the landlord) leaving his stuff in a neat pile by the door with a copy of the landlord's lease showing he is not a tenant/roommate of your place. When he comes back if he starts banging on the door I would call the police and have as much documentation to support your claim that he has no right to be there. I would also notify the landlord prior to this as well so that your freeloader doesn't go to them first and start making a fuss with your landlord knowing nothing about it. I am not sure how you pay your rent, small amounts from each of you from direct withdrawal or cheques, or one lump sum from one of you and the rest pay that person but I would have something proving he doesn't pay any rent and bills.

Question, how did he get a key to your place if he was never a roommate?

BTW, if you have cars and he knows what they look like I wouldn't park them anywhere close to your place for a little while.

I hate when people talk this nonsensical verbage for something that's good or cool...

"that's really dope" or "it's the s**t"...

do you know how stupid both sounds and how juvenile that makes YOU sound for saying it?... :whatever:

We are all related, and it was supposed to be a out of the kindness of our hearts/temporary situation while the person figures things out.

Out of boredom I'm watching Scary Movie 2 on a network affiliate station and aside from it being a stupid movie I find it funny how they're editing out or cropping the naughty bits and blanking out the curse words.

This is why I hate that there aren't safe edited for TV extra scenes for R-rated movies like they were in the 80's.

I hate whenever anyone tries to suggest that a gay man is somehow less of a man because they're gay.

I hate when I help someone with their problem, whether it be by doing something physically or just listening to them and giving them advice, yet when I go to that person with a problem of my own, they don't seem to care the same.

The same would apply for people who pronounce 'ask' as 'axe'.

I hate it when I have a really busy dream, then wake up more tired than I was when I first went to bed.

I hate that one of my dogs passed away yesterday.
