Better than wasting a vote on the 'lesser of two'.

Hell, if nothing else, vote Libertarian (Johnson). If they hit 5% (which they're right around), then they get federal funding for the next campaign. If they can hit 5% with just the measly funds they have now, imagine what they can do with some real money.

And imagine the ****storm that'll hopefully put in the big two to get their act together.

Good point. I had no idea about the 5% stipulation. I'd love to see that turn heads for the next election.

Your party only gets the funds if they hit 5% in the previous election. Perot hit 18% as an Independent in 92, but that party didn't get 5% in 88. So no funds.

Then he ran as Reform Party, so he didn't get the 5% from his 92 run, not like he needed it.

That's pretty much what has me voting this year. The 5% rule gives me some hope that Gary Johnson could make some noise in 2016 because he's a smart guy that could really garner some good attention. The problem is that people are so ******ed when it comes to voting that he might lose out to idiots thinking that him wanting to cut the defense budget means he's siding with Al Queda or some ****.

I hate internet support lines. I called because my internet is dial-up slow and sometimes doesn't work at all and all the guy on the phone could tell me was to reset my modem. Gee thanks Cox, you're sooo ****ing helpful. I never thought to do the most basic of troubleshooting steps. What would I do without you

Haha! I only laugh because I had an ongoing problem with my Verizon modem, and speaking to those people was like being in the 9th circle of Hell!

No matter how many times we called, the first thing they asked was if it was plugged in (lol) and if we had reset it. And *no one* could speak understandable English!!! One lady was practically screaming into the phone in this horrible accent. I could hear her 2 rooms away!! We just hung up on her....she didn't understand what we were trying to ask, and we couldn't understand her at all, haha!!
