Don't Hate The Hater, Hate The Hate! - - Part 14

Because people never drink Coke or Pepsi in real life while having a conversation.

...oh, wait.

I never even notice that stuff either, or don't care. EXCEPT when the integrate it into the script. Because it's almost never done well and just pulls me right out because it's gone from show/movie to blatant commercial.
I've seen episodes of Ugly Betty that have done that.

It doesn't bother me, in fact I think it's kinda funny when I do notice it. For example, Spider-Man 2; an entire pizza place and the only drink they serve there is Dr Pepper?

Yeah, whatever pays the bills. Quit your whinin'! :argh:

It really sticks out in tv shows when suddenly they're talking about how great their Ford Taurus is and all the features it has that'll help them get to the crime scene and what not :p

Too bad that doesn't happen in real life, you're drinking a can of Pepsi and talking about how great it is and suddenly a guy comes out of nowhere and hands you some money for mentioning it.

Here's something I hate; people with low IQs. Seriously, I could probably be classified as legitimately prejudice against anyone who I perceive to be at all dimwitted or even merely of mediocre intelligence.

And I can always tell immediately how smart someone is - purely by how their ideas translates into words, or their general reasoning and logistical ability. And if that's lacking, I immediately become frustrated with them.

But isn't there intelligent people without any common sense? And in some of their behavior in social interactions, you could question their reasoning and decision making?

That's a rather bold claim, wouldn't you say? Not everyone wears their intelligence on their sleeve, and some people are quite good at hiding their stupidity.

or hiding their intelligence. I purposely put on a facade around co-workers, especially when they start talking about politics.

I'm getting increasingly annoyed with a co-worker of mine who endlessly posts stuff about "OBAMA IS TAKING TEH GUNS!!!1111" on his Facebook.

I don't care if he's against gun control, I don't care if he hates Obama, but jeesh, are you capable of posting about anything else?

And he literally posts this stuff like every 5 minutes when he's not at work.

He's actually a good guy in person who I chat about movies with because we're both film buffs, and politics never comes up, but on Facebook he's got such a one track relentless mind.

Thats probably because about every 5 minutes Obama is trying to figure out another way to take them.

Those diabolical liberals must be pretty inept then, considering they're supposedly constantly trying to eradicate guns, Christmas, free speech, etc., yet coincidentally have never actually done it....hmm.

It's almost like they're not even trying to...

Well thats because there are too busy hiking more taxes on people.. Just have to be patient more stuff will be taken away..

Not really,, they have found that executive orders pretty much bypass any disagreements. But if you mean guns, healthcare, increase taxes etc.. I agree its taking too long,,,, both parties are guilty

I hate how my friend judges everything she doesn't like as being childish. She thinks men talking about football is childish, and the same thing with playing video games. She's one of those types that says she wants intelligent conversation out of men, but I've known her for 10 years now and that's not the case. She's smart as hell, but she is also full of ****.

Perhaps IQ is the wrong description. It's about how their brains work overall; the overall ability to create, access and present information. Not being able to conduct yourself correctly in a social situation or not would definitely qualify as stupid in my book.

I've seen people fake stupidity. Generally I can tell and find it admirable. :o

Is this guy Alex Jones? lol

I hate when you do something so often and learn not to be bothered by little things along the process, only to have someone else offer to do it for you once and then have to listen to them complain about every little thing along the way.

What about people who are a bit scatterbrained or have ADD?

I hate people that complain about product placement in movies.

Who cares? if you don't like the product nobody is forcing you to drink Pepsi, wear Levi's jeans or drive a Honda Civic, then I suppose people hate all commercials too.

i dont mind it as long as it's not detracting to the story or put in there blatantly with nothing to do with the plot

Surprised no one posted this sooner.

^ There now you see, I like how they're poking fun at it and I like Pepsi, Doritos, don't really care for Reebok though.
