Jerk offs who think just because they have schooling they can brag about it and try to make others look dumb because of it. School just means classes and professional lecturing. But anyone can be just as knowledgable without the lecturing and teaching themselves.

Usually I become like Matt Damon here. Excellent scene.

I hate waiting. I also hate that if I have something important coming into my life in the future, I cannot focus on anything in the here and now. I'm doing horrible in my few general education classes this semester because I'm too focused on film school starting in August.

I used to hate waiting until I realized that, once the waiting is done, all that time that's passed is gone. And it feels like it took no time at all.

Basically: Life is short, so I enjoy the time now.

Also, "Anticipation is in itself a sensory delight-- a moment to be savored and relished"

I hate that because there's nothing on TV at this moment I could just go to bed, but for some reason I still sitting in front of this computer and can't just make myself go.

I'm not a morning person, so when I wake up, I hate talking to people for like the first hour that I'm awake. I like to be on my own and gather my own composure, which is why I hate the days when my mom or my niece and nephew have off from school. I always feel like the rest of my day feels like crap because its starts off wrong.

i hate when my boss does stupid things to my schedule such as closing shift, then open the next morning, then close again

I hate when I'm the only one at work making any sense.

I hate the moment I realize someone else is right and I was wrong

I hate that "Young, Wild & Free" song. I wish I could strangle it with my bare hands.

This may be related to the fact that my coworker is dying from pancreatic cancer at age 31. He wishes he could have the time to be young and wild, but truth is, we have no idea how much time we have left on this earth so why waste it with stuff you're just like, "whatever" about. Friggin' kids. :cmad:

I absolutely hate it when companies make dvds or videos out of print & are no longer available thereby forcing people to resort to paying insane prices !! :cmad::argh:

And I hate how copyright law has become so ****ed up, who knows when, if ever, those things will enter the public domain.

I hate how teachers be like "Dont copy anything from any books or website because thats plaigerism." Im like" This whole book is plaigerized! All those words are plaigerized!" Its true. Not only that but somtimes i feel like there feeding us BullS**T!

Meh, it stops being plagiarism the moment you throw in a footnote and say where you got it from.

Of course you do. Angry Beavers is awesome.

I like the angry beavers lol i grew up watching that show. Including Rugrats and Doug

meh, how hard is it to put it into your own words?

After you read it, you step away, and explain it to yourself. You'll learn better that way then just route memorization.

Yeah, not that I condone this, but last year I found out I had 2 months to do a 20 page paper to graduate with the Honors program I was in, and since I knew I wouldn't have too much time to get it done right, I basically got some books and highlighted all of the key parts that I needed, and I just spent my time re-reading and re-writing all of that stuff. I got it done just in time for the deadline and I actually learned a lot, and understood some of the stuff that my professor/mentor had tried to talk to me about years before when I had class with him.

That is how i usually do it to but for some reason the teachers in my school are too strict. I mean the students still do it, i still do it. But....it is what it is. Who cares. Just as long as we get it done.

But how do they know what the methods the students use? I guess it does depend on using proper citations. For my paper, I think I needed a minimum of 5 books, so I put in 7 books in my bibliography even though I got the majority of my stuff from 3 books at most.

But to be honest, I think at some point, no matter how much you know about a subject, there's going to be a point where most of your paper is filled with BS just to take up space, which is why I hate when teacher ask for long papers.

I hate texting because you can never get a sense of tone through texts.

Yea we cite our stuff too. I usually find the longest quote just so i can have long paragraph. I hate when teachers give us long papers too. I bet you they dont even read that s**t after we turn it in.

Hmm, I thought the point was to learn it, not to just get it done.

Well, i mean yea but when its a class that you have to take and its a class that you never wanted to take....for example, im taking an Environmental science class and im majoring in criminal justice. Really? Criminal Justice...Environmental Science...they dont really match. Whatevs.Just as long as im getting A's or B's im good. Thankfully, i am getting A's and B's.
