I hate how my mother continues to treat me as though everything I do is wrong. And I don't just mean in the sense that I do something, and she thinks there's a better way to do it. I mean in the sense that she is against every little thing that I do and decision that I make. It is almost as though any little bit of freedom that I have infuriates her because she sees that she has no control over me.

Speaking of which, I also hate how much of a liar my brother and his wife have proven to be, and if I wasn't forced to deal with them, since I work with her, I would be perfectly fine with not having to see them again for a long time. The fact that I'm being threatened by them indirectly just because I decided that I was going to leave the job soon really pisses me off, and I hate how in spite of that, my mom still takes their side. Then they wonder why I'm dying to get as far away from them as possible.

My brother and I no longer speak. I hate how he has spread lies and rumors about me at work and outside of work. His wife is just as bad, I can't believe how some people can be so toxic. It's not easy for me to say this, but I've distanced myself from my brother. This was a long time coming, but he's cruel to me and to others and I'm fed up with it. I'll spare the details of what kind of a person he is, but let's say he's incredibly intolerant of other people in many regards.

I hate that there are riots and random drive-by shootings going on in Warren right now, 10 minutes from where I live, where I have several friends, because some gangbanger got blown away by a policeman whom he was coming at with an assault rifle, and now his brothers are going around "retaliating", including putting six bullets in some random kid at a gas station right around the corner from my friend's house and generally raising hell and acting like this hoodrat ****** was some kind of martyr.

I hate the newbs who make threads for every little thought at pops into their head, boy for it to get closed. Or the ones who make a thread without bothering to see if there is already one. I really do believe that there should a be a minimum post count to create a thread, like how you need 300 posts to get an avatar.

I HATE escalator standers. Especially the ones who are in a relationship, and they have to hold hands and take up both sides. Most of the time I can get around the travelers/shoppers, but those damn relationship-standers are the worst.

I absolutely HATE scumbags who have pets & then at some point randomly decide they no longer want a the poor thing & decide to dump it on the street where the poor animal has to fend for itself.

I agree that it's annoying if two people are taking up the left and right sides, but why don't you take the stairs since there are almost always a set of stairs in between the escalators that go up and the ones that go down.

I never got the whole walking up or down an escalator, that beats the purpose of using one.

Yeah that seems like a you problem. The whole point of the escalator is to not walk up and down on it.

They're also meant to make it faster to walk up and down floors. So it's considered good form to leave one side (usually the inside) free for people to walk.

Even more so for the moving sidewalks like those in airports, which are really there to help speed up getting across the airport. And not just so people don't have to walk so much.
