Why do I get the feeling you're mocking me?

Was the 4th Hellraiser movie the one where they explained the puzzle box thingy? Because that's the only Hellraiser movie I've seen (years ago, watching late night TV), and I had a feeling it wasn't the first movie, but I wasn't sure which one it was.
Hellraiser 4 was also one of Adam Scott's earlier movies and Henry Cavill is in Hellraiser Hellworld.

Yeah, when I saw Adam Scott in there I freaked out a little bit.

I've seen the first two HR movies and they weren't bad but tried watching the fourth and couldn't get through it.

Had no idea Scott was in that, then again it's been years. I only watched it twice, once in the theater and one more time on home video.

LOL when the success of a relationship depends on how much you're buying for her, I suppose you do have a point. :cwink:

Has nothing to do with buying anything for her. I was actually referring to the smaller aspects of being a gentleman that add up -- picking up the tab when we go to dinner, treating her to her movie ticket whenever we go together (which, as a film buff/nerd, is quite often), not asking her to chalk up cash for cab fares, buying her a drink or two when we're out with friends, etc.

She's currently in grad school and strapped for cash. She's worth every penny I've spent on her over the years (which amounts to thousands when birthdays/anniversaries/holidays are factored in), but that doesn't mean I'm not allowed to HATE the dent it makes in my wallet...especially considering that I'm not exactly raking in boatloads of cash myself at the moment.

You guys should try out Hellraiser 5. It's actually really good. It used to be on Netflix.

What's got me seething today? I am bothered by people who can't be bothered to get angry about anything of an offending nature, especially the disrespectful, exploitative behavior of people they allegedly claim they care about. It really gets to me that some people seem to have only one default emotion and that's to have a permanent Enzyte Bob grin on their face all the time. And nothing, not even something seriously criminal even, gets to them. I just want to smack that blank stare right from their faces. I think a large dose of real life and a traumatic crisis would wake these sleepers up from their stupor. It rages me they can't be bother to get riled up over things of an unjust nature even. Life is just a big frigging party to them. But they do get riled up over things of a weird, nutty nature, like they are convinced Russians, Chinese, Aliens, etc. etc. are invading this planet and want to rule the world Legion Of Doom style. I think they need to seriously cut down on all the pot they inhale and learn how to behave like normal human beings, not apathetic conspiracy theorists.

I hate how hard it can be to do certain things at times simply because of pure laziness and procrastination.

I hate that I have a court date today for traffic ticket. :cmad:

I hate how my auction on Ebay for my preordered PS4 was bid on by a Dbag with no star rating and his account was created only a few months ago. If it didn't sell I was going to quickly cancel my Amazon preorder before it ships in three days because I would rather not have that $450 go on my credit card, especially since Ebay was flooded with PS4s I wouldn't have made enough of a profit to justify that amount being charged to my card.

The problem is the same day it ended(yesterday)I sent him the invoice and emailed him asking if he wanted me to open the PS4 box when I received it to make sure everything is in there or if he didn't want the seal to be broken. He hasn't responded yet and I think he's one of those ass hats that isn't going to pay up since his account doesn't have a buyer or seller rating so it wouldn't matter if his account gets closed from Ebay for a no pay. He just F'd me over basically. Of all the people to bid it had to be a new user. This isn't the first time this has happened either.

It wasn't one of those last minute bids was it?

It was. That's how I bid, but I always pay instantly. When I want something on Ebay, I refresh until it has 10 seconds left than quickly put in my max bid.

I have a good feeling this isn't going to work out well. If so, I'm contacting Ebay and even pushing it further with legal action if possible. I won't stand for this.

I hate how UPS has always been reliable and consistent in their delivery time, except in the past month. They've been attempting to make deliveries early in the morning when no one is home and we've had to wait several days for a package, simply because they don't delivery like they used to. And even on the notices, it says they are going to delivery after 5pm, and they still end up coming at 11am.

The average UPS truck driver has to start delivering more packages than usual around this time of the year. Some of them leave earlier than usual so they can finish their deliveries on time.

Also, when more packages come into a UPS building, that building might add more trucks and drivers to get everything out. When that happens, your usual UPS man's delivery route might be adjusted so that the extra drivers can take some of the load off of them. This results in deliveries being made during different times of the day from what you're used to.

...god, I need to get away from this company.

Stop making excuses Manic. We need our time to complain.

:hehe:

I'm just frustrated because I'm stuck at work all day and my mom is normally supposed to be home when they arrive but either she's out when they come, or they come too early in the day and its become really unpredictable at this point.

I hate that another person I actually liked at my job, a manager, got transferred. That's the tenth person this year who's either been transferred or just quit.

Or maybe you should burn the place down.

Just waiting for them to steal your red stapler?

Actually I'm waiting for them to tell me one more time to smile and actually talk to the customers.
