I hate hipster video game fans who stay stuck in the past. Everything that you played as a kid and/or teen wasn't sunshine and roses.

The only Mario game I ever beat was Mario 64 and the only Zelda was Links Awakening. :p

I HATE WE HAVE THIS DINOSAUR IN CHARGE OF MY NATIONAL TEAM. :wall:

Lion King for the Sega Genesis is the best ****ing game ever made. Fact :o

I hate 99.99% of online job applications. They're so sterile, you can't tell someone's personality and passion behind it. Yesterday I applied to a job with the ad agency responsible for Deadpool at SDCC. I was going to tell them how f***ing awesome Deadpool was, but nope. What's your employment history, what is your education. How are we supposed to prove we've done exciting work (like you claim all your employees have) if there's no space in the job application to show it?

Eh, it was kind of a YOLO move, because it was an immediate contract job, I wouldn't otherwise go into advertising, and the position paid crap for the experience they were "requiring," but...Deadpool at SDCC was f***king awesome. :funny:

But in general! I had a relevant passion and wasn't allowed to show it.

I'm in the middle of a career change, I don't have years of experience (ie, someone telling me what to do while I sit at my desk), and all of my awesomely cool projects have been passion projects done for no money and not for a company. My resume has nothing, besides the job I did in a completely unrelated industry.

Everyone I've emailed for work love what I have to say, they love my portfolio. (Pity they're all contract jobs, but hey, gotta start somewhere.) But I am dead meat in a typical online job application.

I'm now more convinced than ever that if you don't have 2+ years of experience at a well-known company, you have to bust your butt helping out however you can and proving your abilities. Even if it's not on a resume, you'll network and people will start to notice what you can do. Don't even waste your time applying for jobs online. You'll get nowhere.

Today at work my manager got frustrated with me and said that she wanted to smack me. This has been after a week of being given rude and snide remarks by my co-workers. I dont care if she was frustrated, being told by a employee, much more so a manager, that they want to hurt you is inappropriate.

Stress can make concentration and memory hard for me, as I am manic depressive and I do work in a fairly fast paced and stressful job. The isolation from my co-workers has not helped.

Are you kidding me?
Batman Forever on the Super Nintendo is better than Batman Arkham Asylum :o

I hate my yo-yoing weight. I keep bouncing up 10 pounds, then down 10 pounds. I'm a big guy, I've accepted that, but that 10 pounds is the difference between my shirts fitting, and not.

I keep doing the same thing. I was up to 220, then down to 190, now back up to 200.
