I poked around a laptop with Windows 8 not long after it came out. I didn't like it and I'm going to reuse my Windows 7 license when I build a new computer instead of buy Windows 8.

I really hate how too many social justice warriors don't realize that they're bigoted as all **** most of the time. Apparently people still ignore the old idea of taking what you said and reversing the gender/race/age/whatever demographic to see how hypocritical you are.

Social justice warriors are awful. In several ways, they're acting as bad as the people they are against by being irrational, intolerant, confrontational, and at times narrow minded.

Darryl Katz bent our mayor over and took the city for a ride when it came to negotiating for a new arena to house Oilers games and whatnot. The result was that the city ended up putting in more money than it should have and now all the efforts are focused on the construction of the new arena and not on the areas of the city that flood every time it rains (and with climate change, it's raining a hell of a lot more here). The areas that flood are major commuter routes.
