We (Kmart cashiers) do the bagging ourselves too. I find self-check-out isles confusing...

I did both as a cashier, I was trained to be a cashier then they bumped me into bagging/cart collector/and sometimes mop. Then after a few months, I was a cashier yet I was also doing bagging/cart collecting whenever it gets busy.

This is hilarious, because when I worked at a high-traffic convenience store for two years, I was a cashier, bagger, made-to-order cook, pizza baker, janitor, stocker and maintenance man. All for a lovely minimum wage! We were told we couldn't keep our tips, but I'd get them often from people for the food and didn't think twice about pocketing them.

Which makes me wonder how many of them are union? Our store is (my dad spent his entire career there), and they've got their **** down. They always have one or two floating baggers to help the cashier's out and take out the carts and load cars for people who need that.

The store I used to work at was a union yet they still make us work more than they should. Also they made sure your 15 min break was exactly 15 and nothing more. Sometimes they even delay my breaks until hours later because it was busy. I'm glad I work at a college library, I mean sh** I got two pay raises in this year alone.

I hate that my apartment reeks of cigarette smoke. I'm not a smoker, I have never smoked and nobody has ever smoked in my apartment, still the stench lingers. My clothes smell all the time and my complex doesn't seem to give a ****.

in all my years, ever since I was a kid till now in my mature years, I have never EVER seen anyone EVER tip a bagger, not even when asked to take the groceries to one's car...

it always seemed like it was just a service expected for a bagger to do...

I've just NEVER seen that done here in all that time...

even when full service gas stations were around when you never had to leave your car, I STILL never saw a pump jock get tipped back then...

I was getting some packages ready to mail, cutting down the cardboard and yeah...I have this almost inch long gash that I can't get to stop bleeding. Ugh!

Haha! And knives! Once I sliced right through the webbing between my thumb of my left hand with a bowie knife. Now that I think of it, i was trying to break down cardboard at that time too. Maybe I should just stay away from boxes...

Sometimes I just hate going to university. Especially this semester, where there's a girl in the class that talks constantly, and I dont even mean just during the breaks, but during the classes as well, and even interrupts the teacher all the =@£${[/&%¤# time (I mean come on, show at least some respect and put your hand in the air as youre asking a question) But nooooo, shouting out and commenting freely as you wish is obviously the preferred choice.

I know there's probably this person in every classroom in the entire world, but it doesn't change the fact that it's annoying as FFFFFUUUUU-
