Who do you want to be the main villain and WHY.

back up your opinions and say why that person would make a good choice. Not just "Venom. Cuz he rules and has cool moves and stuff"

Electro.

Because he's the only villain physically suitable for Grace, and one of the few cool villains who has the remotest chance of his story not being rushed or butchered, like Venom's would be if it was crammed in.

Electro. I just think that there are too many classic villains that should be portrayed before Venom; I would rather not get into the whole "symbiote" crisis in the films; and I just plain am not a Venom fan.

If I had to choose, for this movie? Electro.

Electro. Both because I personally like him more, and I feel it's too early to introduce Venom.

At the hope of Electro being in the film over Venom. I'm more excited over the prospect.

Mainly because even though I love venom as a character. I just don't think a film can carry his story in the way that Raimi tells his stories.

sorry guys, but i say venom. i am a venom fan, and do want him in these movies, but i also don't want him rushed. i would like him to be introduced, brock i mean, and biult up for spidey4. yea, it would be a little cramped by adding the symbiote story in the movie. but i trust raimi and the whole spidey orginazation to give us the best story possible for this film. they will deliver, no doubt in my mind.

plus, venom is just a crazy villian to spider-man. just imagine the battles that would be between them. it is something very desirable to see.
just my opinion.

Electro.Topher looks more like Max then Eddie

but we don't know if raimi has a different view of brock in his mind for his story(assuming topher is playing brock).

but, i must agree, topher does look more like max dillion, than eddie brock.

Raimi always said he didn't have much interest in venom.

Unless he was either bluffing or is being pressured by the studios.

bluffing.

he's not one to be pressured by anyone. these films are his stories, and he will never let anyone tell him how to tell these stories.

Electro!

We atlest need the symbiote in this movie to show Spider-man have it and than loose it and than Venom in Spider-Man 4.

Hobgoblin and Electro, and Sandman work much better than venom with the two.

Or so you think. Studying the media the director doesn't ALWAYS have the final say. It depends what Sony wants in the film and Marvel (I'm guessing) but more Sony's say because they are paying for the film.

They call the shots ;)

:( bad news just keeps coming and coming

Venom. I've been waiting for Venom to be in a Spidey movie sense the first movie. He could have some really cool action sequences.

I never really liked Electro as a character, but he wouldn't be carrying the movie alone so it could work out fine. And there's a solid chance that Electro now means a better Venom later. This is not a casting issue (I don't mind Topher as Ultimate Eddie Brock) but a matter of having enough time to tell the story.

I think either way, the black costume needs to be introduced in SM-3, regardless of which origin they use for it.

topher doesnt look like brock? it looks like that fans dont like ultimate spiderman.

If played by Topher in SM3, I'd have to go with Electro.

Of coarse Electro.... I made a case for him.... :)

I think Topher would be a good fit for Electro, but I'd like to see him as Hydro Man, simply because of the element that this could present in the film: Hydro Man blames Spider-Man for his mutation (if you know his origin of course:) ), Harry blames Spider-Man for his father's death, and Gwen blames him for her father's death (if Captain Stacy were to die). That would present an interesting set of conflicts and an amazing climax at the end, and also could represent a thematic moment in which Peter questions whether or not Spider-Man is a benefit to humanity at all.

Just a thought.

isn't hydro-man obsessed with m.j:confused:

or am i wrong...

I wish Raimi would of used the Lizard with the Sandman, but I would rather see Electro with the Sandman instead of Venom.
