Very nice round up there . That's one of the most detailed accounts on Electro I've ever read.

Who remembers the old Spider-man game, Spider-man 2: Enter Electro? What an ace game. After struggeling past Shocker, Lizard, Sandman and Hammerhead, you face Electro in two amazing battles. not to mention what a b!tch it was to climb up that electric wall in the museum

Well, Electro's definately done one of the weirdest things to Spidey yet, take a look at part of this story I just scanned...

The first scan is from Light the Night part 3 in Spider-man 40.

The other is from Spider-man Unlimited 9. Only a few months old so it'll be easy to track down

He also has a very good story in Spider-man Unlimited 11, I put a few scans of that up a few pages back.

Great cover? This ain't just a pretty face, it's a GREAT arc altogether IMO. This is the power-up arc and Max kicks all kinds of ass in it. That and "Light the Night" are my favorite books for this character.

Yeah, I have never been much interested in She-Hulk, I am surprised that you own that copy. Do you normally buy She-Hulk or was it the Electro appearance that made you buy the issue? I didn't think you were a She Hulk fan, or was that just the Hulk?

I have not purchased comics regularly since High School, although I go back to my old issues a lot. Occasionally I will purchase a new issue when the storyline peaks my interest. But mostly I try to keep up to date on what's going on. Speaking of which, have you seen the last issue of the Other? Crazy to say the least. I am not liking this change in SM.....: Hopefully it will be short lived....I just hope they don't make him into Morlun (even for a short time).

I must admit that I am not too familiar with the Ultimate version of Electro. I was merely commenting on his completely different look than the original.

Ock, those are some simply FANTASTIC scans. Sym, you couldn't be more right. The Electro power-up arc is the best Electro arc out there. I have only one issue of Light the Night sadly but I'm on the look out for the others.

I must say that when Electro guest starred in Marvel Knights Spider-Man... Electro took Spidey to the max.

Yeah, I have never been much interested in She-Hulk, I am surprised that you own that copy. Do you normally buy She-Hulk or was it the Electro appearance that made you buy the issue? I didn't think you were a She Hulk fan, or was that just the Hulk?

I am a fan of neither She-Hulk nor garden-variety Hulk; I bought that issue off eBay because it had Electro in it. I have most but not all Electro appearances, being a serious student of the character. I don't have the original Electro appearance in DD, and I don't have his appearance in.... damn, that Falcon thing. Other than that I probably have it.

That She-Hulk issue makes a total fool out of Max and I hate it. If I have time I'll scan some stuff out of it Tuesday. He's taken down by S.H. and this new kid sidekick calling himself "Tommy the Gopher." Really ugly, trust me.

As for Ultimate Electro, he's actually quite interesting. His powers are slightly different from 616 Max, for instance he can disincorporate and travel through electrical wiring, etc. which makes him quite hard to stop. In his two appearances so far, he has increased quite a bit in power, and he's getting quite the little 'tude [as is only justified!]. I hope this trend continues. He certainly managed to **** up the Triskelion in a truly royal fashion. Had Nick Fury in a bit of a froth. it's always good to see that.

I'll dig up She-Hulk another day... here for your edification is part of the attack on the Triskelion featured in last year's "Ultimate Six," showing why Ultimate Electro is not a person to be trifled with.

We're leading off here with Otto Octavius, recently escaped from SHIELD detention with the other 5 detainees, enjoying his success at hacking into SHIELD headquarters' computers.... naughty boy...

And then Ultimate Sandman shows up to help host the festivities. The entire facility almost gets trashed, Sandman gets grit into every machine Electro doesn't manage to just plain short out and destroy.... and then Norman and Otto show up too. Funfunfun.

Sure wish this'd had a better artist. As in, the guy who's supposed to be on the book....

Thanks for the scans Sym. This was Electro's best part in Ult 6, we were cheated out of seeing him fight Thor in the last few issues I did like his debut in USM though. I don't have it (borrowed it from my library) so I'll have to track down the trade

Wow, this is an awesome thread to an awesome Character. I really hope they put Electro as a villian in the upcoming movie; he has such cool potential as this thread shows

Hey, show the part where Electro and Shocker actually throw down! My God, that is funny. It would be so great to see that onscreen... but NO. We get Sandman. I'd much rather see Shocker than Sandman.
