Its probably been discussed already, but what does everyone think they should do for villains? I'd guess Klaw would make the most sense for what will presumably be an origin story? Maybe White Wolf as a secondary threat?

If I was making it White Wolf would have a "cameo" appearance at T'chaka's funeral and that's it. Basically setting him up for appearing down the road in the sequel(s).

After seeing GOTG. Im a bit bummed how they used academy award nominated Djimon Honsou.

Agreed. Hounsou was my ideal T'Chaka. Feels absolutely wasted in GotG by comparison.

I've long thought that Klaw should be the villain at first because of notoriety. Killmonger would be the second villain if they make it to a second movie, and in the third they should maybe use White Wolf as the main villain.

Klaw has always been a symbol of colonialism regarding Wakanda, I think he fits. Basically there to exploit the vibranium to make himself more powerful and to sell to the highest bidder and not giving a **** about royalty and ****.

I think in terms of tone something like Winter Soldier would be good for BP. Still has good humor moments, but is more serious in comparison to the rest of the MCU

For sure. Black Panther is not the character to go all comedy with...He needs to be portrayed as the straight man. The comedic moments can come from the contrast between the stoic T'challa and more easygoing characters

BP shouldn't be devoid of comedy, but a tone like IM or Thor wouldn't work, we need something more serious like TWS

oh and Klaw should obviously be the villain here. Maybe they could throw in another popular Marvel villain that doesn't really have strong ties to any one character, more a villain to the Marvel Universe at large

IMO the origin for BP should have Klaw and Man-Ape as the villains

Definitely Klaw. I think M'Baka makes a better secondary origin villain as seen on EMH and similar. You don't put him in an ape shawl, perhaps have him more like a modern African warlord like we saw in the BET series.

Of course, the fact that this is so close to the BET series might be reason enough to do something different. I don't think we want to re-tread the evil brother angle from Thor either though. I think Moses Magnum as a well armed arms dealer might be a really natural fit to transition from our world to the world of Wakanda.

M'Baku and Achebe should be secondary villains that T'Challa doesnt realize are against him. Eventually they are revealed in a 2nd film to be his enemies. Or at least that's how I think it should go

Please Marvel no comdy in a BP movie. Yea I can accept humor but NO KEVIN HART'S!!!!!! BP needs to be series and not campy. Is it too much to ask?

I think Godzilla was largely made without humor. I can only think of one purposefuly funny scene in that whole movie. I still liked it, but I think it couldve benefited from some levity.

I think humor helps if you can balance it.

Devoid of humor is ridiculous. Every movie has something funny happen in it. I'm just saying don't make it an abomination like Iron Man 3 where every other line was a joke.

I loved the BET BP series and the EMH episodes of BP, a movie could be crafted easily if they based the storyline on a combination of those two shows.

I've got to be honest I don't love man ape.

I would go for Klaw and Moses magnum as the arch villain manipulating things behind the scenes.

Oh and I think captain America should be an antoganist at least at the start. Chris Evans is always saying he want Steve to get a little dirtier and it would be interesting to see captain America get totally manipulated and do something that is opposite to what black panther stands for

Boseman needs to be a superhero, but idk if BP is the right role. I'll support him for it though. I think he fits John Stewart more. If he can pull off the accent though, i'm all for it.
