Well I finally got a chance to check out the series.

Ultimate Spider-man, Amazing Spider-girl and now..The Spectacular Spider-man tv series are the complete gems. All reasons to be a Spider-man fan. It's a shame that the 616 Spider-man is stuck in all this ridiculousness.

Anyway, the series is amazing. I missed today's ep, but got a chance to download and watch all the other episodes. The character interactions are spot on. Gwen, MJ and Harry are all enjoyable and Spider-man is funny as hell..Oh and the action is freaking amazing.

Supposedly MJ returned to ASM with issue #560......

Hmmmm....That brings me one step closer to a Peter/MJ reunion. I know I know, I'm grasping for straws here but whatever. Need to keep the faith alive.

Tempted to go back into collecting ASM with MJ back as well.

They brought her back as someone else's girlfriend.

Looking for a permanent Peter/MJ reunion IS grasping at straws, sadly. There's no way that Marvel will let the two find happiness after all the crap that was pulled to rip them apart.

Let's just hope USM, ASG, and the new cartoon are around for a long, long time.

I think it was mentioned before in this thread, but MJ had some really nice moments through out "Maximum Carnage". Yea Yea, I know alot of fans rag on that storyline cause it was too long and so on, but it was one of the first stories I ever collected. I also loved it and well...Yea, it was a great story Imo.

Just recently brought the TPB and one of the best moments through out the story was the final kiss that MJ and Peter share in it right before he goes off to face Venom/Carnage for the last time.

But, I am really enjoying SS. It's the only Spider-Man fix I get these days.

There' a lot of moments. Such as when MJ finally agrees to marry Peter. Or, perhaps the moment at the end of "The Return of the Sinister Six" when they embrace after such hell they've been through. It never really stops.
