That NOES trailer looked really good I even recgonized a few actors that appeared in other horror movies.
Yes, the one guy is from The Haunting in Connecticut and the blonde is from The Black X-mas and When a Stranger calls remakes, plus the shows, Supernatural, Harper's Island and Melrose Place. and of course everyone knows JEH. Plus another kid who played John Connor from the show is in it.

Kyle Gallner, Katie Cassidy and Thomas Dekker. :yay:

I guess keeping Jason in the 'real' went down the tubes as I don't know how they gonna explain how he survived a 4ft machette thru the chest.

Does it really matter?

They'll probably just go with the zombie thing.

He put his mask on a mute pot farmer that was strolling by before they killed him. Works like a charm

oh yeah since we so needed a sequel to this.... i saw this as rental from a friend and even though it was free i still felt cheated out of the gas money i burned driving to his house.

Well, the last bit was prolly a dream sequence like in the original movie.

Loved the original, hated the remake. Only thing they did right was not make Jason a zombie. Will probably see the sequel anyway, hoping for the off chance that they might get it right this time around but I honestly doubt it. Hopefully I'll have enough points on my Scene Card to not have to waste any money on it.

Here's a picture of me dressed as Jason for my 11th grade high school Halloween dance. I won a prize for scariest costume.

I'm just glad the director of the remake isn't returning. I just don't like what he does with films. The remake just didnt' feel or look Friday the 13th to me. I liked it, but the way it was directed and handled just didn't do it for me. As for who writes this, I guess if they have enough respect for the franchise I'll be okay, but just get a director who understands the series and characters better.

I have no problem with how they bring Jason back, as long as it's NOT A ZOMBIE!!! I really liked Derek in this film and what he did with the character.

I enjoyed the reboot and look forward to it's sequel. It wasn't perfect, but it was an enjoyable effort and a respectable enough return to form for Jason.

I don't care where it takes place as long as there is sex and gore. :woot:

Fuller Updates 'Friday' Sequel, 'Elm Street' Reboot

While New Line Cinema has already announced an August 13, 2010 release for Friday the 13th: Part 2 3D, it appears the film has yet to get the go-ahead. "Still hoping for some good news that will take us back to Crystal Lake," Platinum Dunes producer writes on his Twitter page. Damian Shannon and Mark Swift - who penned the remake - are currently penning the sequel. In addition, he also updated the status of A Nightmare on Elm Street exclaiming, "on the mixing stage working on NOES." Freddy Krueger returns on April 30, 2010.
