Sequels "Gambit" starring Channing Tatum? - Part 4

Marvel Stud10s isn't gonna use the script of foX's Gambit from the get go most especially with how their films are connected to each other. And you really think "future son in law" is a reason why Marvel Stud10s would keep this film?

Filmmaking isnt as easy/convenient as you think it is.

yeah.
if Hollywood was like that, Feige would have his cousin directing a MCU movie too :funny:
Gambit will be lucky if he gets a solo movie under Disney in the first 8 years of the X-Men debut in MCU

Hollywood is like that. James Gunn hired his brother for GOTG
If Feige had a cousin that directs, yes he would hire him. That’s Hollywood.
Ron Howard’s brother been in almost every movie he directed.

The reason why WB bought Magic Mike distribution right was because Alan Horn was Chairman of WB at the time and his daughter was the female lead in the movie. No other big studio didn’t want to have anything to do with MM.
So Horn has did this before.

If the future son in law is hired, it would be for something else. They aren't make a Gambit film solely because of that but if you want to believe thats possible, then keep believing!

If you don’t believe nepotism runs rapid in Hollywood, than I got some Florida swamp land to sell you.
You can’t be that naive?

First of all, I didn't say anything nepotism so stop. Marvel Stud10s isn't an indie company, that the head boss can simply come in and demand a Gambit movie because the son in law was a writer of the film when it was with foX. If a Gambit movie is part of Feige's plans sure, but Horn's son in law isn't gonna be a factor most especially as the main reason why Marvel Stud10s would create the film.

Who's the naive one here now?

Anyway, believe what you want to believe, I know it won't happen lmao!

I was told Scorsese's brother is a huge fan of Mojo and he has a Mojo script, focused mostly on him and his origin, and apparently Feige has a good relationship with Scorsese, so I think its pretty likely that Mojo could be one of the first MCU x-films.
Maybe Feige will announce it next year. We'll see

LMAO.You don't understand much about business, do you?. Feige is just an employee and he will do whatever Horn tells him to do.

If Kevin Feige was forced to make a Gambit movie, or forced to make any movie at all (which would be weird, because thats exactly why he got Ike Perlmutter booted from making movie decisions because feige wanted more freedom), let alone one that is coming from another studios' film slate, it ain't coming for a very long time. Everything about that project would be purged and rebuilt from the ground up. Feige would probably want to have him in the first few x-men movies, test the waters and then move forward with the project. Now mind you, this is all based on my observations on how previous characters have been handled under his watchful eye, not exactly what is actually going to happen.

Now thats just me playing along with this hypothetical. However, I could see Channing Tatum being cast in the role for MCU Gambit if he politics hard enough for it. I think he'd do alright too.

All I said was Gambit has a better chance with Disney than Fox and I give my reasons why I think that. Because this movie was going nowhere with Fox. Whatever Disney does is up to Disney. We don’t know what Disney is thinking and planning.

Each year, disney can release only 3 MCU movies
so Gambit wont have solo movie according to me but will appear in x-men movies

MCU will include X-men, F4, Eternals alongside Avengers + new (Spidey, Strange, Black Panther, Danvers), Guardians ...

too many movies should be made, no time to waste with solo Gambit

With a big mergers, there are are casualties on both sides. I think some of the future Disney’s Untitled Marvel Movies will revert to X-Men movies. I think we’ll start seeing 2 MCU movies and 1 X movie. And vise versa, depending on the year.

I think if there wasn't a merger on the horizon, it would eventually get made by fox.

it probably wouldn't be very good and they'd bring in some bland director for hire looking for a paycheck, but if channing tatum wanted it enough as much as it seems like he does and fox continued wanting to do business with him, it would find a way to get made.

I don't see Gambit getting made. Just because Tatum knows somebody at Marvel Studios doesn't mean they're getting greenlit. A Gambit movie wouldn't even be thought of until mutants are properly introduced and established in the MCU, and it likely wouldn't be Tatum in the role.

LOL at Feige being just an employee :funny:

Feige has proved over and over he's a force at Disney right now. He's not the CEO, but he is the man responsible for MCU huge success. He's no Kinberg, thats for sure lol

I don’t think Fox would have ever made Gambit. Tatum has been trying to get this movie off the ground for five years. I think if Fox was really behind this movie they would’ve already found a director.
And people remember please, I didn’t say Disney will make this movie, I said I think it has a better chance with Disney than Fox. It look like this movie had no chance with Fox, let just wait a see does it have a chance with Disney. We don’t know.

And yes Feige is still just an employee and he has a boss.

Fox found a director, actually three of them. But producers or Tatum or both f*** them up, and they left.

So clearly the problem wasnt the director, but the people involved. Either Tatum, Kinberg or another producer. My guess is that Tatum/Kinberg vision wasnt the one the directors wanted on first place. Are u surprised? Im not, lol.

Feige has a boss but that boss doesn’t tell him which movies to make

That’s exactly the reason why he got Ike Perlmutter kicked out of the film division. And things seem better because of it.

Not to mention that no other studio in hollywood would have done movies for Antman, Doctor Strange, Guardians, Panther or Captain Marvel.

Feige made all that happen.

The future son of law of Alan Horn is the new Fiege in Marvel Stud10s because nepotism. :o

Feige needs to do the right thing and give his pga award to Horn ASAP. :o

you guys are really sure about things that you would have no way of knowing.

sometimes all you gotta do is just read the tea leaves and apply common sense to things.

like thinking theres even a snowballs chance that fox's current x-men franchise will continue at any point under disney ownership..... that just isn't happening. you don't need to be a disney executive to know that.

It’s not common sense, it’s interpretation.
It’s not knowing, it’s thinking and wishing.

P.S. You do need to be a Disney executive to know what they got planned.

funny coming from someone who believes Gambit will "get off the ground" once disney takes over

based on absolutely nothing whatsover
