I loved Cersei's impression of the lady in my icon in this episode. Lena Headey is awesome, and Cersei should just be drunk all the time.

Thats the thing about a prequel series, you dont have to keep anyone, you start fresh since it is set in the past. But I already know they will never do one since GoT is already expensive as hell, they arent going to do a companion series on it to.

You can't do the prequel before the series is over. It would probably give away the biggest spoiler the series has.

If you did it starting right before the end of the Targaryen reign I dont think anything happens during that, that would be a mssive spoiler.

Anything's possible. Though that's a lot of recasting. They really couldn't keep anyone.
they would have to recast because ned and robert were younger also we would have to have lyanna and reagaer and john aryn.i wasnt think a series just a 2hr prequel movie.it would be really cool i think.well i think the guy playing tywin could be the same if you wanted to have someone from the show.

A 2hr movie would be fine with me, anything to do witht he past would be fine with me.

if your talking about jon snow thas not fact its a rumor

First I said probably.

Second, it is not a rumor. It is a well put together theory based on the books and it makes complete and utter sense. We all know what blue roses represent and who else is the blue rose in the wall of ice? :woot:

Or [BLACKOUT]how about Jon's own dreams in ADWD involving him in black ice armor wielding a sword of pure heat? He is the Song of Ice and Fire, quite literally.[/BLACKOUT]

I deduced that in like two episodes. I think most people figured it out in the first season. Unless they are really oblivious like Ned's wife.

I wonder if Davos survived. If he comes back he's gonna look like Darkman.

Also, I'm confused about something: Did Sansa stay or did she leave with Sandor?

Would people day this was the best battle they've seen on tv? I thought it was quite good but thinking of past cinematic battles like helm's deep it doesn't come close.

It came pretty damn close for a TV show.

But it did have something that Helm's Deep didn't have. You had compelling characters on both sides. Helm's Deep was just the characters fighting 10,000 nameless Uruk Hai. And while they looked cool, there was no doubt about who was going to win.

Exactly, I was in equal measure loving Stannis doing his thing all the while going for Tyrion.

What do we think happened to Mathos?

Helm's Deep is very pretty and has some awesome moments, but it one of the worst constructed battles I have ever seen. It made no logistical sense what so ever.

She stayed. I dont think she trusted Sandor that much or was scared it would be some kind of test.

Yes, but there are plenty of people who live in denial.

Not to go off subject, but what do you mean?

Pretty sure he's dead. Remember what Melisandre said? Death by fire is the purest death or something like that.

Halfman! Halfman! Halfman!

Only thing that would of made the episode better is Tyrion saying "I love the smell of wildfire in the morning"

It's interesting, in the books Davos has three sons with him at Dragonstone and here they've kept it to just him. But yeah the Melisandre comment was very ominous..

There is absolutely no point in attacking the wall. All they had to do is shield their men on the steps while they busted the front door down. Helm's Deep should have fell in less then 45 mins.

I admit Bronn singing brought back memories of Jerome Flynn's music carer from the nineties.

I would KILL for a 1 season prequel series. But I know that will never happen.
I'd be content with an animated prequel movie about Robert's Rebellion with the cast (Sean Bean, Mark Addy, etc.) providing voice work.
