Can't Robb marry 2 girls or is that against the law? I loved the scene with Edmure and in the end, it was so emotional.

It would cause a cluster****. The Frey's would want their children to be heirs to the throne. By allowing Robb to stay married to the other woman they risk her having a son first and robbing them of that.

Ah, I see what you mean. Either way, Robb's screwed in that department haha. But, looks like I worried for nothing. The Freys have accepted - I thought they'd put up more of a conflict with Robb but everything seems to be going fine!

I can't wait for someone to call Robb on his selective honor.

Great episode; Littlefinger went from 0 to scary real quick. Who was in control of the confrontation between Twyin and Lady Martell?

I confess, when Roose jumped up and told Theon he forgot to ask if he was lying, I chortled.

I'm happy (kinda) that Robb told Edmure that he knows that he's paying for his sins.

I couldn't believe it when the camera panned out to reveal Ros' lifeless body. Sad to see her go but at least it wasn't for nothing i.e. both Joffrey's and Little Finger's heinousness has been increased considerably due to the circumstances behind her death.

I actually liked the conversation between Tyrion and Cersei. It was interesting to see them a little less at each others throats.

Tywin and Olenna exchange was great.
"It's a rare enough thing a man live up to his reputation" , excellent !
The climbing of the Wall was great and I'm pleased that Jon's girl saw through him, the bond between them grows stronger.
Sorry to be that guy again but Sam didn't even know how to make a fire. I smiled when the girl said : I was sure you were highborn. Really ?! Dumb and dumber are at work here :)

NOOOOOOOooooooooOOOOOOOOOOO

I loved that woman

Amen.

lol

Tywin: "Your grandson is gay."
Olenna: "Yes, well, your son and daughter have three kids together. You really wanna go there?"

Haha, that exchange was awesome.

Blackfish was great in this episode too. Come to think of it, he's been awesome in all his appearances so far.

Robb is an ass to his uncle.

Granted his uncle is incompetent, but at least he's trying. Karstark may have been a murder, but he wasn't wrong. Robb lost the war when he couldn't keep his *** in his pants.

I'd assume so...

That's true, but at least in the end Robb told him "you're paying for my sins, Uncle. It's not fair or right. I'll remember it." :oldrazz:

I'm sure there are some who believe that not much happened last night's episode compared to the previous two, but, in terms of the character interactions, quite a lot was done to advance the overall story forward and further establish the characters. To me, the highlights were, in no particular order:

The scene with Melisandre, Thoros, and Beric, as it highlights just how, despite belonging to the same religion, how vastly different their views on the Lord of Light really is. Likewise, I enjoyed Melisandre's reaction towards Arya and the later willingness to boldly call her out on her BS.

Another was, of course, the scene with Tywin and Lady Olenna. Great dialogue and acting from both Charles Dance and Diana Rigg, showing just how evenly matched these two family elders really are.

And finally the scene with Varys and Littlefinger, not only because of Littlefinger's "Chaos is a ladder" speech which was very fitting, but also his reveal that [blackout]had Ros killed by Joffrey[/blackout] which I certainly didn't foresee. As was [blackout]Cersei revealing to Tyrion that it was Joffrey, not her, that tried to have Tyrion killed during Blackwater[/blackout] which, in hindsight, actually makes far more sense that what Tyrion initially believed.

The other stuff was good too, but those were the highlights for me personally.

Little Fingers ''Chaos is a ladder'' speech was the best part of the episode, I couldnt help but think of The Dark Knight Rises, when Bruce Wayne was thrown into the Lazarus pit and Bane talks about hope and how ppl also cling to it.

Except here you could actually understand what the character was saying.

The comparison is more ironic since Littlefinger was the CIA agent that captured Bane before that ridiculous airplane sequence.

Bane punching 'Littlefinger' in the throat feels really good, in hindshight. :o
