Can anyone confirm for me when Nikolaj Coster Waldau's character and the blonde body guard get it on at some point in the novels? They have been intimating a romantic angle ever since those two ran off together. (Haven't seen last nights episode nor have I read the novels, so no other spoilers please).
They don't. At least, not yet. There are still two books to go, after all.

Also, I bet that the White Walker regrets not killing Sam in Season 2, if it's the same White Walker, that is. Also, the synopsis was funny for this episode - "Same & Gilly meet an elder gentleman" :lmao:

It looked like the same walker to me, lol. :p

It was 100% the same walker. I was hoping it would be too, so that was a nice surprise.

Yeah looks like Gendry lucked out lol, at least he was able to get it in for a bit.

If I'd gotten as much Carice as he just did, I wouldn't mind death right after.

Everything else in life will just be a letdown after that.

I figured she'd fall in love with him and then Jamie would betray her after seducing her. But yeah, I don't want to know what happens if anything.

I will just add that

[blackout]while they have not acted yet, they are still quite close and with two books to go Jaime's fondness looks like it may only be growing.[/blackout]

I hope that is vague enough.

Is it really that easy to kill a White Walker?

Speaking of which, Sam never picked up the dragonglass.

My only issue with Stannis is he attacked King's Landing and then lost the battle and went back home...and just sulked in his room...he's not making plans to go back (that we see) or replenishing his army(that we see)...he's just standing there

Well, I'm sure he has more of it & I think it was in a heat of the moment kind of thing. Plus, he's cowardly & there was shock & so much stuff :oldrazz:

Well, to be fair, he's doing something - being part of Mel's ritual stuff that may go well in her plans or stuff. So... :woot:

He can't attack King's Landing again because he's lost most of his fleet and it's stronger with the Lannister and Tyrell forces holding it. He wouldn't be one of my favorite characters if he just sulked on Dragonstone all this time.

Just finished it, not bad.

The dinner table scene was brilliantly done.

Great episode, loved the wedding reception, especially Olenna working out the mechanics of who's whose nephew and step-father and brother-in-law. :hehe:

Now for the wait.

I'm so happy. It must be so sweet that Arya will finally reunite with her mum & Robb. OMG so sweet - I'm sooo happy for Arya :)

Glad I wasn't the only one who saw that. lol
