He went from an arrogant ******* who I couldn't wait to see die to a more sympathetic character who has a real history behind him that at least partially explains him.This, right here. I'm really interested to see where they take Jamie's character next. I HATED his guts in season 1 and thought of him as merely a sister-****ing, child-throwing a-hole. They've definitely given him more layers in the meanwhile and actually made him sympathetic to a certain degree. I loved the moment when (and the way in which) he saved Brienne from getting raped by Locke's men.
Joffrey on the other hand, could have every injury we've seen on every other character done to him and I still wouldn't feel sorry for the little ****.
