The Dark Knight Rises Gary Oldman - "We start shooting next year. You didn't hear that from me"

wow, summer 2012 will even be far away next summer. this is kinda sad :(

I don't want rushed out movie like B&R after BF. Nolan can take his time over this.

umm no it isn't

Batman Begins- 2005
The Dark Knight- 2008

Thats three years.

Batman 3- 2012

4 year gap.

LONG

Wow, a year.

After B&R we waited 8 years for Batman Begins. I'd rather wait an extra year and get a GREAT sequel then settle for a medicore one that was rushed into production.

My original point still stands...suck it up.

I could really calm down if they would just announce the god damn movie with a date.

They have to consider the age of the cast too. Caine and Freeman are both over 70 and they're not getting any younger. They might be taking things for granted a bit there. It's kind of sad to think that both of those great actors will probably die within most of our lifetimes.

Sorry to be such a downer, it's been rainy all day and there's a funeral at the church across the street and yesterday was my Grandpa's birthday who died about a month and a half ago and I've just been thinking about dying a lot lately. Anyways have a wonderful day!

what were TDK's shooting dates already ????

Not sure of the dates but I heard it took a year to make that film.

just a wild guess...Iron Man 2 - stinkeroo

:wow: Them's fighting words! :cmad:

:oldrazz:

yeah i really hope those guys are still alive. We should start a thread where we have to give a prayer everyday for them to stay alive ;)

Now this is pretty dumb:

Yesterday Jett was all excited bout Gary's comments. Now it looks like he is backpedaling too:

I think that Chris and co. have all signed on for BATMAN 3. I think Gary had a WTF?! moment at Comic Con. I also think that there's NO WAY IN HELL BATMAN 3 goes in front of a camera in 2010 and is released in 2011. I think production starts in early 2011 and hits theaters in the Summer of 2012.
Chris' two Bat-Flicks have both started filming early the year prior to their release. He'll be working on INCEPTION -- which IS NOT BATMAN 3 GD-it -- 'til mid-2010. Really, there's no way he'll start B3 up in the latter part of '10 and be done with it in time for a '11 release months later.

IF Chris has indeed signed on for another go-around in Gotham, my friends over at Warner Bros. should just go ahead and announce it.

Like I said last week on the message board, make sure you're keeping your eye on the Trades.

Seriously, this guy doesn't know anything more than we do and yet plays his reports off as 'exclusives'. I find him quite annoying.

Yup that's Jett for you. He seems like he used to be in politics but failed. Of course that's purely speculation. But so is everything else in this thread. *shrug*
