Oh I meant did GR punch the dude AFTER he pulled him back down with the chain and I have just a few more questions...

1. How much did Ghost Rider's motorcycle change when it was in "hellcycle mode"...

2. How was Ghost Rider's fire effects improvedwhat color was GR's skull (I heard it was black)

3. How did GR's chain look in action (did it increase length) and was it always on fire?

4. Did GR do any other "fire based attacks" and could you see the imrpovement in how he moves now that Nic actually plays him?

1. bike (structure) was the same as the normal bike. only the tires are on fire and of course the tar bubble effect that covers everything.

2. skull looked blackish ...or dark grayish and "might" have been covered by that black tar effect. couldnt really get a close/long enough look at it. fire just seemed to be more animated/dynamic. didnt have that slow fluid effect from the last one...behaved much more like real fire.

3. chain was very cool...when the dude was thrown the chain was already attached to the guy's leg and appeared to lengthen beyond its normal length. didnt look like it was on fire...for that scene at least

4. no other real major fire attacks other than the bullet spit...from what i can remember though there seemed to be a scene in there where flames erupted from the ground. may not have been caused by GR though...
didnt see anything that really stood out of GR's movements in the trailer..
Cage said he didnt play GR in the 1st one? really? seemed to see tons of stunt photos and action scenes of Cage acting as GR...wonder if he just means he plays the part for longer durations in the sequel.

Also..the directors did carry over Goyer's 2001 script idea that whatever bike GR gets a hold of it becomes the hellcycle.
In addition there is this huge piece of machinery that can cut parts out of solid rock from rock/mountain walls which has this large saw like device. GR gets a hold of this and turns it into a hellish weapon/vehicle.

So did Whitworth actually look like a villain? Or ummm...some kid who looks like he raided his goth sister's closet -Looks over at Wes Bentley-

Sounds cool, did the "bullet spit" look like GR was actually breathing fire or vomitting (I hope it's the latter)?

Oh and was it in the form of flames or was it more like lava?

he actually did look like blackout surprisingly ....albino white skin and long hair. couldnt see the teeth though. did not look emo...at least in those 2 shots

more like vomiting the bullets back out w/ a ton of flame. it did look a little bit like hot lava w/ rocks

w/the site up and running hopefully we get a teaser and/or full trailer soon...

I heard the CGI budget was used up just filling in Nic Cage's hairline... just a rumor... :cwink:

HFM (------bald... just add flames... :woot:

What is the deal with this film having the Marvel Knights logo on the footage? Thos os the 2nd film with it (PWZ being the 1st)

What I read from the panel got me excited for this. I loved GR when I was a kid. I read the mediocre comics and bought the action figures. When the movie was coming out I bought into the hype even though it didn't look so hot. But after it came out I tucked away my inner fanboy because, frankly, it wasn't very good...at all. Hopefully we'll get a trailer soon. Nic Cage is a good actor when he wants to be. I expect him to be over the top as usual.

My guess is they are using that logo for their darker characters.

I want Ghost rider to come out in the summer.. this should be a big blockbuster.. February openings for action films.. it's hit and miss..
I hope there are plenty of violent fight scenes.. the first film lacked this..
I wonder will Jason Statham have a cameo.. hmm... who could he be.. Scarecrow, maybe..

its kind of a sub division of marvel films for their more darker characters
like in the comics

Yeah the original budget was cut in half from Sony and the summer already has The Amazing Spider-Man, The Dark Knight Rises, and The Avengers. And those are just the comic book films. There is a lot of tough competition next summer. If the movie is great it will do just fine...but there lies the challenge. Can Neveldine and Taylor deliver us an amazing Ghost Rider movie? The last film was released in February and still hauled in over $200 million worldwide even with its lousy reception which is rare. There may be a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths over the last film though so it might be a tough hill to climb.

Wow how come this movie doesn't have a solo section in this message board yet?
