Ghost Rider 2 In The Works - Part 1

It is just a reminder how pitiful the action was in Ghost Rider that that one gif with the chain slam blows away every fight scene that was in it away.

Looks like it's going to be at least partially awesome. He seems quite a lot scarier than the first movie. When he roars at the guy early in the trailer, that gave me chills! Pretty effective.

But the pee joke at the end. Really? Is Cage gonna screw some chick in the middle of the street too?:whatever: That juvenile crap is what I disliked most about Crank and hoped would be toned down in GR. And I don't even mind juvenile humor, as a rule, but I *do* expect it to be funny.

Anyway, cautiously optimistic. It's on YouTube for those who found it choppy -

This movie is going to be PG-13 so I doubt Ghost Rider is gonna be sexin it up on screen. :P

I don't know yet, but it looks awesome.

Pissing fire, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Lookin at your avatar, I have to ask...is it like... Big Trouble in Little China month or something? It came on TV and watched it again, and now everywhere I go, Big Trouble in Little China is there.

And it's awesome. :awesome:

Jack Burton would watch Ghost Rider 2.

Not to poke fun at the fans but GhostRider was always a dumb superhero. Now we have a movie that looks like it's not taking itself seriously anymore and make it stupid and fun. Nic Cage fits that awesomeness. I can't wait to see it in theaters.

And that's the point of Neveldine/Taylor. Their movies aren't deep, but they sure are fun. :woot:

And most important, they know how to film action and create bad@$$ heroes

Can you make an avy of the first shot Of Ghost Rider in the trailer?

@PWN3R: I hope it's not too much to ask, but a gif of Ghost Rider puking bullets? Not as an Avatar, but a gif in general.

Wow, this trailer blew mew away. Visually and action wise, this is the crap I wanted to see from the original film.

I also love the new Ghost Rider look; that ashen, blackened look is just incredible. He looks so much more visceral, and the look of the action hammers that home.

I don't expect a lot from this film narratively, but this looks like the sort of film that has an interesting sense of humour about itself--makes me wonder if it'll be something of a black comedy. That last bit about the peeing is just wonderfully absurd.

Also? The **** he does with the chain turns my crank.

They did something similar to this scene in GR1 (Rider throwing his chain around that earth dude) but just look how much difference they are. That felt like a really lame and anti-climactic to GR and Blackheart's first encounter but this... this looks SICK!

I must say that the skull of Ghost Rider looks really authentic. :applaud

You can't really do much with depth for a Ghost Rider film, but this looks like it has potential to be a great popcorn action flick.

The truth is that Ghost Rider isn't a deep character and that he isn't suppose to be a deep character in the movie, so why have a movie with a deep Ghost Rider in it? The guys who made the movie aren't really soft either, it's not their style.

He's not puking bullets here. Seems molten metal (the bullets?) and chains. Like he did (only once if i remember correctly) in Road to Damnation #3.

Oh, badass trailer BTW. :D

Say what you want about Neveldine and Taylor and their movies...

But ****, do they know how to shoot an action scene.

You make a movie about a character with little depth without making it freaking ******ed.

Just because you have a somewhat shallow character doesn't excuse all the other elements of your movie. The point of the movie may not be great character study, but that does mean you have to deliver on the things people ARE paying for.

Ghost Rider does have a bit of depth to him. The idea of a guy selling his soul to the devil to save a loved one, only for it to backfire on him. And that guy living with a demon inside him that shows no mercy.

That's where the conflict is. That the Rider is pure vengeance, but Blaze is the one who has to live with the guilt and question whether what the Rider does is right.

I mean it's not Shakespeare, but there is a compelling side to the character.

Just an example of the kind of stupid **** they seem to be fond of.

Watched it again, I really like when he roars at the guy he's grabbed. It really feels monstrous and scary and even more so since it's in broad daylight.

Cool action sequences, but some scenes have that straight to DVD feel.Hitting theatres pretty early i thought they would hold out to Summer 2012

I have two words to say...

ABOUT TIME....

This looks to be everything the first movie wasn't and I love the evil, scary, demonic GR. I still might have liked the old costume, but seeing how they are doing this, that probably wouldn't work.

Right now MSJ.. should be MMSJ and it should stand for My Movies Suck Junk...
