Coming up with that version of the song isn't something I'd brag about... :o

don't diss the coulton. :P

he's actually put his song on itunes and is giving the proceeds to charity.

edit: actually it's a cover of glee's cover of his cover.

A TV reporter I check in on from time to time on twitter just said that Tina's storyline was the only good part of this past episode. I already only barely took this chick's opinion seriously. This is probably the straw that breaks the camel's back.

It's his song. May be a cover but its still his. They decided to use his version without permission, that's stealing

He changed the arrangement, but it doesn't make it his song, since, as I understand, he didn't seek the music's owners for permission to do it. While, yeah, they copied his arrangement, it's all legal.

Just listened to this week's cover of "Torn". It was good, but it was simply no Happy Endings...

Caught last weeks ep tonight, not sure why they are bothering with all the Tina/Blaine/Sam stuff as it can only end one way. The Puck/Kitty underage stuff was creepy.

The highlight was definitely the hilarious reworking of Baby got back. :funny:

This is why we cant have nice things RM.

I didnt find Pitty that creepy since he hasnt even been out of high school for a full year yet and if he had failed most people wouldnt even think of his age which is only like 2 years if he never failed. Though this just makes Kitty look more crazy, like she wants to become Quinn litterly. And well brings down her cool factor that she had going on for her.

I love how Murphy doesn't even try to have half this stuff make sense...

I find Puck/Kitty creepy because Mark Salling looks so much older than Becca Tobin. He's seriously looking older than Schuester these days.

He is looking older, but she definitely looks way younger than she really is. I was shocked when I found out she was older than Dianna, Lea and Naya.

The thing is she is underage and Puck is committing statutory rape, yet it's written as comedically inconsequential.

Sue's basically attempted murder on two seperate occasions and they've played that in the same way. I think that's just how Glee rolls...

She doesn't look that young to me, then again I've known her for years playing a half naked stripper 8 times a week. :oldrazz:

remove the lyrics and you have a completely different song. Its not like he just slowed down the original song. And the song was released under a certain license in which Mixalot get his cut.

It's not exactly stealing.

The itunes version they released even still has his lyrics "Johnny C's in trouble" instead of the original "Mixalot's in trouble."

It was such a ripoff they even mention him by name.

Yea, that rubbed me the wrong way.

Sue's basically attempted murder on two seperate occasions and they've played that in the same way. I think that's just how Glee rolls...

But Sue's always been the most over-the-top character clearly not meant to be taken completely (or even halfway) seriously.

That, to me, is different than Puck banging underage girls in the backseat. It just gave me an icky vibe.
