Apparently the Crimson Map Pack was up for free to everyone. It's most likely fixed now but that's a really big f*** up.

I think it's messed up that it just recently was made free for the Collector Edition owners...

I agree. I've been playing the same 4 maps since the game came out. And I play every game mode. It's just a constant cycle of the same 4 or 5 maps.

Oh, and the maps are still free. You have to do it in this order:
- Launch Halo 4
- Scroll down to Marketplace menu
- Hover Crimson DLC Map Pack
- Go to confirm purchase (it should be 0 MSP)
- Accept
- Go to Xbox Dashboard
- Let the download launch

Just make sure it says 0 MSP before DLing. Ha!

They should... It's so weird. Reach was boring and bland.. Every single Forge map felt the same yet Bungie pushed the he'll out of those maps. The Forge maps in 4 are different and fun... Yet we don't get them in rotation.

Yeah um its downloading right now....if it works and I can legitly play the maps I will be a very happy camper(plus I was saving MSP to get Battlefield Premium and was undecided on the War Games Map Pass).

If you're able to DL them, it's 100% legal to play them. The Xbox Support twitter page said it's fine, and they're looking into it. But if you get them, it's their fault, so enjoy.

People are sugar coating the truth with reach. It was slim pickings with their maps at the beginning and even a year after release, ALL you got were terrible forge maps instead of any of the paid DLC.

Whereas here were getting new maps only a month after release (and apparently free) and people are still complaining. Sheesh.

Plus, the Halo 4 maps are better than ANY map in Reach. Hell, Haven & Adrift are two of my favorite maps ever.

It wouldn't be fair if Microsoft didn't let everyone download it for free now.

Btw, now they are saying the map pack is only playable until the 18th if you got it for free. So better get those achievements before then.

Played a few more games tonight (around Gears, Skyrim & Black Ops) & I really can't believe how much better this game's multiplayer is than before. It's taken the biggest step forward out of all the main multiplayer games.
