The Dark Knight Rises Harvey Bullock....

I was going to say the same thing. I don't see why not, and I've heard people say (in other threads) that there is no need to introduce Montoya since there is already a Hispanic (Ramirez) officer. :whatever:
They could because technically they are different characters, but they used Ramirez as Montoya. The only difference was the name. So they most likely wont use Montoya because they kinda in a way already did.

I think, given the way TDK ended, with Batman being hated by the people and hunted by the cops, that Bullock is almost needed in the next film. He can be the representation of that mentality that Batman is more harmful than helpful. I would love to see him as the new head of the major crimes unit, meeting with Gordon and Batman on the roof, being verbally abusive toward Batman.

U definitely have a good point.

None other than the great Ray Winstone.

Why is Gandolfini sucha popular choice? He just was the leading actor in one of the most popular shows on tv. I mean to go from that to be what would be the what 8th or 9th character of the movie? Dont you think he's a little over-qualified? The most popular choice for Bullock is a more praised and more famous than the most popular choice for the riddler.

To me it looked like they wanted to use Montoya but didnt want to make her corrupt. Gordon, the way that he is and now Commissioner, could/would probably fire her leaving a spot open for Montoya. Ramirez wasnt anyone special anyway. She might as well be credited as Latino Cop.

They didn't use Montoya. They used an analog because of the corruption stuff. No kinda about it.

An analog doesn't mean the actual character couldn't be used later on. Montoya is a good character who could fit in Nolan's universe.

montoya, UGH... i hate her now... DAMN... DC has replaced my fav character w/ her...

The Question will forever be Vic Sage, not Renee

It COULD work. Im not disagreeing with that. But I think they did use her as montoya just with a different name.

What Im trying to say is that if her name in the movie was Montoya instead of Ramirez, nobody would go 'thats not Montoya from the comics/show', and I think people wouldn't be dissapointed about the character(the corruption thing aside). And a very little change like replacing the word Ramirez to Montoya in the script, would be a big difference to alot of people.

If this IS what they have done, they definetly wont include her. But if they didnt have Montoya in mind when writing the character, they might. That is what Im trying to say.

after reading Gotham Central Vol. 3, Harvey needs to be in there somewhere?
