I believe this version came out around '09 or so. The slip-cover was based off the recent statue. Absolutely love it. I'm going to buy more release's and versions of the Fleischer films whenever I get a chance to, that's for sure.

Hey Tra-el is that the STAS superman and Lois action figures I see at the top left and right hand corners? If so what do you think of the figures?

As for the fleisher cartoons well what can I say they're the perfect representation of the golden age superman IMO just like donner's superman is the perfect representation of the bronze age superman and STAS is that of the post-byrne/modern age.

I think it's easily fixable. I think the problem is they're parting it a bit too centrally. My hairline is very similar to Cavill's and I've seen parting a little bit more from the left makes it look a lot better. That's how he styles it in real life and it looks fine

What are you getting at here? Superman and Wonder Woman being in the same poster doesn't equate to Super/Wonder as a couple happening (as if the narrative is ready to ditch Lois and Clark right as they're reunited and likely engaged), and herolee's concern about Superman and Wonder Woman's interaction in BvS has nothing to do with romance, as far as I can tell. More importantly, I don't know if that picture you posted is meant to be a Superman and Wonder Woman promotional image. It looks like a manip and cropped, and promotional images don't exactly represent relationship building. For example, there were Trinity images released for BvS yet, as herolee is pointing out, Superman and Wonder Woman didn't interact much in BvS. Therefore, a promotional image like the one you posted, even if it were authentic, wouldn't be indicative of anything for certain. So, really, what is your point?

This is the goddamn Superman.

We've all been hurt, we've all got it wrong, trusted the wrong person, made the wrong bet, turned the wrong way, made THAT mistake. What we've experienced is important, it defines us. But what is more important, and often forgotten, is that we decide how it defines us. The experience, decision or moment itself does not. Others will almost always try and define you by past transgressions more quickly than your past successes.

I've made mistakes, I've been someone I'm not proud of plenty of times. I've fallen down. I've loved the wrong person. I've failed. I've been hurt. I've hurt. That's life! In life we are going to get it wrong....alot. What I've tried to do and still try to do each time though is recognize those mistakes and mould them to my advantage. Make them a way to better myself. We've all had a bad experience thanks to someone else. Don't let that bad experience decide how and who you are. Don't let it hold you back from love or success or giving something a go. Don't vent your pain onto or at others in an attempt to bring them down and hold them back and cry your fury to the world. Don't let it turn you into the monster that hurt you.

Use that experience! Run with it. Take the sum of your past and make it your tool to approach the future with. Move forward and love the experiences you have, use them to define you and make you the best version of yourself that is humanely possible. Your life is yours and will be whatever you want it to be. Love, grow, pursue, strive, challenge yourself.

Be afraid so that you can be brave.
