Well, then there's also the fact that the public hasn't really had a good chance to see Superman's face clearly. The only people that got a good chance to see his face were the Military really. So they can definitely play with that for awhile as to why no one can see through Clark's disguise for the most part.


t: And he's like Tarantino in a way, he's a film nerd and likes to use different types to film-making grammar. You would see shots of the lead actor's muscles rippling in the Italian Sword and Sandal pics or some of Arnie's 80 action pics to show how "macho and powerful" the hero is. So it was just that, I wouldn't call it cringe-worthy, it was just like a overtly obvious "hero shot" or a "muscle worship" shot. It actually got a big cheer in the my theatre!



From the soldiers too. Especially when they first meet him. Because I was thinking about it and I was like how long was he floating there? Why was Swanwick behaving like he'd seen it before? I wish we could see all the scenes that were cut in the editing room.
