I'm miffed because that's literally all you guys have been doing lately. If there was actual discussion going on along with the gushing, I wouldn't have said anything.

EDIT: Like I said before: you're all well within your rights to comment on his looks. I don't blame you. He's good looking. But just commenting on his looks is annoying to me. I didn't say you had to stop. I didn't order you around or make demands or (initially) put you down. I just suggested that maybe that talk could be taken elsewhere. Ok what are there 2 threads now? What's going on? Ok to bring up the acting, how on point and wonderful was Henry's accent in the movie? It is so good that when I see him speaking in his normal accent, I have a Hugh Laurie moment and think he's faking.

A Cavill appreciation thread was created in the celebrities forum.

And I'm sure it's ok to talk about those things in here. His accent was great. I loved how he talked in the movie, both the accent and tone/depth of voice was perfect for Supes. And I thought the same when I heard him speaking normally after seeing MOS.

Outside of talking to Lois, did anyone else notice Cavil putting on a kind of "voice" such as the scene when he is floating above the military? It was a more authoritative tone but also somewhat seemed like a put on voice. Maybe it's me, but it harkened back to the Bud C. voice from the old radio programs.

Hmm, I sorta see what you mean. His voice when talking to Lois was different than when talking to the military. I think what it was is the formation of the Supes "persona" and differing it from Clark.

You know what? I didn't love his accent. I felt like he was mumbling a lot. I got that same vibe from his voice that I get from Jax's on SoA. Some things just don't sound right, and then at time I feel like he's giving a pseudo batman voice. It just felt a bit off, but this could be because he was very somber. I don't know. I hope they work on that.

Henry's voice sounded fine to me. I did notice that it went deeper and more authoritative (sexeh!) when he talked to officials. I think his American accent has significantly improved over the years, not that it was the worst I've heard in the first place.

Btw, Henry's eyebrows are amazing! I mean, S-rank levels of fantastic! Do not even try to hate.

Yeah, it's a shame that WB neglected to use it as part of their marketing campaign for the film. It's 100X better than most of the promo shots we got.

I agree, but the image doesn't have enough blurriness or shadows to suit their preferences.
