From legendary writer/artist Neal Adams comes a threat so epic it will take more than one Man of Steel to handle it in this new 6-issue miniseries! As Darkseid and the hordes of Apokolips lay waste to the world, even Superman is overwhelmed-but not for long, as three heroes from the miniaturized city of Kandor emerge at full size, armed with all the vast powers of Kal-El, ready to become the new Supermen! This battle of titans also features the machinations of Lex Luthor, plus fan favorites Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane aiding in the fight for Truth, Justice and the American Way.
"We have Darkseid, New Apokolips, three new Supermen, Luthor, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Superman and a little boy and his dog. There’s quite a bit. I’ve got all of Jack Kirby’s characters […]. They are the way they were when Jack Kirby created them, when I fell in love with them as characters. And we have quite a battle for six issues between all of these characters. […] I’m falling into the fantasy of what comic books are. It’s today. It’s Superman. It’s Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane. It’s Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster’s time. It’s exactly that same Superman brought forward in time.“

Put him in a speedo instead of red whitey-tighties?

I dunno, Momoa is pretty big (6"5). As a comparison, Affleck is definitely not taller than Chris Hemsworth in these shots (equal or shorter, if anything) ....

.... yet even Hemsworth looks short next to Joe Manganiello, who's 6"5 like Momoa.
Momoa is 6ft4in, which makes him barely 4cm taller than Affleck. Hardly "towering over" Affleck, especially with proper footwear and camera angles.

Here's Zachary Levi (same height as Affleck) next to Jared Padalecki (same height as Momoa):

Nope.

Bane is 8 feet tall... Hardy is too small for the role...oh wait.

i have the total opposite opinion. Superman should be supreme. I think it would have been better making clark/supes look atleast half a head bigger then he actually is.

Agreed. Another reason I wanted Bale to stick around. He and Cavill are close in height, as Batman and Superman are in the DCU.

New TV Spot.

Ben seems to be really owning Batman, but Henry seems to be holding his own, showing every facet of Superman he can facially, from his confidence as Clark to a look of fear in having to face an unwinnable fight (ie. he severely injures/kills Batman or gets severely/injured killed-himself)

Holding his own? I think Henry's been owning Ben in all their low amount of shared screentime, thus far.

Breakdown:

Bruce Wayne owns Clark Kent (trailer 2).

Batman owns Superman in the mech suit: Both CC and Trailer 2
Superman owns Batman without even having to fight him. TV SPOT

Batman has the best lines-"Tell me, do you bleed? You will"-Chris Terrio
Superman has the most iconic images- Larry Fong

The costume, I think is a tie, though Batman has the advantage of being completely new.

Wonder Woman had a cooler entrance than Batman and Superman (CC and Trailer 2)

Aquaman is probably gonna be a big surprise, as is cyborg.

Who wins?

The audience :yay:

I think Superman has come across the best in both trailers and now this TV spot. I actually think Batman is coming across a right dick.

^ Which is how it should be, IMHO.

Superman should be trying to avoid fighting as much as possible, Batman should see Superman as a nearly unstoppable alien force removed from humanity and go no-holds barred against him.

The fight should end with Superman understanding the necessity of Batman, and Batman understanding that goodness can exist within powerful figures (even non-earthly ones)

I agree

I also didn't get people thinking Superman was overs hawed in the first full trailer, sure Batman got most of the lines but the imagery was mostly Superman.

Yes he is and I love it. Bc in the end Batman seeing how wrong he was might sway the public view of him too.

I agree too. And I was one of those who felt concern that Batman would. But like you said with all the super imagery I am more comfortable as a superman fan and finally hearing him speak in that last trailer I am more comfortable as a superman fan.
