I agree it was, I do like the new suit though

So do I, but if it were up to me, we wouldn't have gotten a different suit. Just brighter colors. There's a sleekness and simple elegance to the MOS suit that the DOJ suit just doesn't have, despite there being only relatively few differences between the two.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the new suit; I just prefer the old one.

I hear you. The old one really has an alien feel/look. The new one, which is still great, is more cornered and technological and very embellished.

I aint complaining though. I actually do like the smaller shield.

I liked how loud and in your face the old shield was, but I like the size of the new one a lot, too.

Both suits look spectacular in my opinion. I love the kryptonian writing in the BvS suit. I think I even like the shield more in BvS as I love the Gold instead of Yellow and I think it is a little more "properly" proportional. as if they merged the MOS shield with the Superman licensed shield. The buckle and cuffs etc are all very minor changes to me, either looks fine.

Agreed. I like how there are gaps between the piping around the midsection and forearms on the new suit; they were a little too clumped together on the original. Both shields are great. I think the slight reduction in size can be attributed to the producers wanting it to appear just a bit lower on Superman's chest so that it isn't so close to the neckline. The only change I'm not crazy about is the square belt buckle, but it doesn't bother me that much.

The new suit is gorgeous and Damn near prefect! So was the MOS suit. The MOS shield was not only bigger but higher up his chest which is what I think I miss the most. I said before the only change they needed to make, for me, was the color of the blue. They did that and it looks great. Especially with how Fong is shooting it. Maybe for JL they'll make a hybrid of the MOS suit and the BvS suit. Really just bring the S higher and go back to oval. Lol

We're lucky that we are happy with both suits but I agree that they should bring back the oval (Team Oval) but although I prefer the MOS S I live the BvS S so that could remain.

It took me a bit to warm up to the new "S-shield" when the design was first revealed, but I absolutely love it now, my favorite Superman shield design now too, but this is without a doubt a Superman for the modern age. I wish the comics would use the suit as well.

I'd say the GC classic suit gives the MOS and BvS suit a run for their money.

The BvS suit and MOS suit are great. But a lot greater lightened a bit. Do a cap from MOS and lighten it. You'll se what I mean.

Gerard Christoher, Superboy. Those suits were fine for their team but they have nothing on the Cavill suits IMO. What's interesting us the Superboy suits were improvement on the Reeve costumes and they were better than the many Lois & Clark suits that were after.

Each to their own mate, I like the Superboy suits but I think the new ones are much better, but they would be given the better materials available now and such.
