I know. It's almost like 90% of comic nerds are knee-jerky *****elords who throw tantrums when adaptations deviate even slightly from their preconceived notions of how a character should be portrayed. :o
:lmao: :lmao:

And that's why fans even have a difficult time being listened to when their whining is actually spot on, as was the case with CINO and Fan4stick.

You could write a book about nerd rage in regards to CBM casting. It would be 30 chapters long and only two of those chapters would be in regards to times the nerds had it right.

Two chapters is being pretty generous

I really liked these parts in the cross fire book:

The description of his powers were very detailed. It sounds like Cavill's Superman will only grow stronger in the future.
He's undoubtedly the strongest Hero in the DCEU.

Really? That sounds great. Was it posted anywhere? :)

She nailed the part, every woman in presence of Cavill in press tours look like that. :hehe:

I think women are much worse hiding emotions in front of a beauty or they don't have fear to be labeled unprofessional or pervert like men.

MOS interviews of women v Cavill were borderline creepy (in a hilarious way)

I just love how...Clarky this is. There was no need to reinvent Kent's appearance while reporting and they wisely resisted the urge. Classic Clark look right here.

With regards to nerd rage...I think the percentage of fans that are over-zealous morons is actually quite low, but it is a vocal percentage.

Awww come on, guys. Fancasting is always 100% spot-on. We all know Billy Zane shoulda played Lex Luthor and Idris Elba and Benedict Cumberbatch shoulda played everyone else.

95% of fancasting is always basic as hell. It's like "Oh, a muscular superpowered character??? Let's cast a pro wrestler! They're muscular!!! Lex Luthor? An evil bald guy??? Bryan Cranston played an evil bald guy! Yas Heisenluthor YAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!1!"

Maybe 12 years on the hype has soured you towards people having fun fancasting?

I wouldn't mind people having fun with their basic as hell fancasts if they wouldn't be so knee-jerky and awful about actors who ACTUALLY get cast in these roles.

Some people need to just be able to have that fun, but still be optimistic even if their particular choice didn't get it. Part of the fun to me is just imagining what can be, and then seeing what actually will be.

For those that have listened to the sample track entitled "This is my World", I think it definitely indicates (by the tone) that we'll either get a scenario where Superman literally does sacrifice himself against his battle with Doomsday or where it's believed that he had sacrificed himself (until he shows up at the end to reveal that he's alive).
