just realized cavill looks like jude law today.

 lets hope his hair doesn't bald as much :p

When you see Jude Law pics from those days you can see why they wanted him for Superman at one time.

I wonder if anyone is ever going to call Superman Kal-El again? The Kryptonians are all lounging in the Phantom Zone. Jor-El's consciousness was in the Kryptonian key which was used to open up the Phantom Zone in the first place. Lois might have heard the other Kryptonians call him Kal-El, but she'll be calling him Clark. Same for Martha.

It kind of sucks. I know Wonder Woman calls him Kal in the comics, but that's after they have an established history. Bats calls him Clark.

I guess the only one might be Wonder Woman... maybe Kara and Brainiac if they make it into the DCCU.

I agree Diana will probably call him by his Kryptonian name, but then again she might not. Once we see BvS we'll be sure I feel.

I never saw it. I think Law is such a talented actor but I always thought he was so wrong for the role.

Terry Tatcher is my eternal Lois Lane. Dat lack of chemistry on the Singer shot though.

Terry the best live action Lois ever. I know people don't Luke Dean's Supes but they picked an amazing Lois.

Absolutely hated the 90's series, perhaps I was too old for it I don't know. For me, I think Adams embodies exactly what the role and character should be, and for me, her chemistry with Henry was amazing in MoS and hope continues in DoJ. Equally my love for Donner-verse Superman is legendary but I think personally, Kidder as Lois is a complete ***** to Clark and I don't get how anyone could fall in love with her portryal as a possible partner, she treats Clark like s**t, I get that she loves Superman not Clark and it's only in II that she finds out, but as a woman and how she treats one side of a man whom she claims to be in love with, as that man, i'd be like 'no thanks, I'm not sticking round to be treated like that', perhaps thats harsh given she doesn't know the duality but....

Hahaha that's a really good point. I used to watch those movies over and over as a kid, but haven't gone back to em as an adult, so I never really analyzed their relationship through adult eyes.

I suppose she's meant to be a "no nonsense" type person, so Clark's goofy, klutzy side really gets on her nerves. She wants a "man's man" like Superman. Then, once she finds out it's all an act, it still gets on her damn nerves.

"Uh, Lois..." (pushes glasses up the bridge of his nose) "Could you just **** off for one second, and let me think!"

Terri Hatcher is my #1 live action Lois as well, followed by Durance. Though all together STAS had the best Lois, bumping Hatcher down to #2 and so forth.

Best overall Lois for me is Dana, 2nd is Teri. Just the attitude Dana had in her voice made her no nonsense without being butch or a b----. That's the one time I would look at WW and LL and not know who was more beautiful.
I feel too often Lois is treated or used for laughs and unfortunately that was the case in Smallville and LnC but at least with the later she did more than just be a joke and then be tossed in a corner while the writers focused on Lana or Chloe.

As for Jude, Henry looks nothing like him and its crazy to me that they were thinking of him as Superman. Then again Snyder wanted that Joe Mangeneyoyo(?) in MOS.

Wouldn't count just an animated voice though Dana was great.

If I were to narrow it down to my top 5 live action since the Reeve movies:

1. Teri Hatcher (Perfection even if the show wasn't :oldrazz:)
2. Amy Adams (Very Good)
3. Margot Kidder (Good)
4. Kate Bosworth (A little too mean, but had potential)
5. Erica Durance (Ok, but could never buy her as Lois completely. Never came off genuine in role.)

His face is quite perfect for Superman. I don't know that he had the frame to pull off the role even if he had put on muscle.

I just watched a video interview with Henry Cavill this morning in which he was asked if he sees Superman as a kind of dual character consisting of Clark and Superman, and he responded that as he views the character Kal-El is the real person and Clark and Superman are both personas. That made me wonder whether the people that he gets closest he will want to call him Kal.

This kinda explains Batman's advantage, He uses his intellect to outsmart his advisory more so than superman who relays on his strength. I've got a feeling this will be showcased in the film in his battle against The Dark Knight.

Superman is just as smart and has beaten opponents using his intellect as well.
