Don't you people understand! The fate of this movie, neigh! The WORLD rests on this man's HAIR! :argh::o

His hair, Amy Adams hair, Lex Luthor's hair (or lack of)... These are serious serious issues and people just don't get stressed enough about them IMO.

I mean, all people are doing about it is complaining on an internet forum!

That's not enough!

We need to take to the streets people! We need to send angry threatening letters to the makers of the film, and make angry reaction videos for youtube! Let's go! Superherohypsters Assemble!

:p

To summarize things, you need glasses.

That reminds me, I'm really getting pissed about the lack of a CK in glasses pic :(

*sigh* A widows peak is NOT a receding hairline!!!!!!

It's definitely receeding.

But it's no big deal. It doesn't really destroy his Superman appearance.

TBH Cavill's the only Superman with a decent hairstyle in character. Alyn, Reeve and Routh looked silly. Cain and Reeves had mafia don hair.

Eh. I'd have trouble taking Cavill seriously if his hair looked like this.

This looks more.. normal

Well then, you're a weirdo if you can't take Superman's iconic look seriously.

Brandon Routh also had what you'd technically call the 'iconic' look, and personally I think both of their hairstyles look cheesy and unnatural.

Some things look better in comic form. The 's' curl in the middle of the forehead is one of them.

I think the spitcurl looks best when the hairstyle is a bit more messy and natural. Something akin to this:

The hair helmet doesn't look good.

Actually Henry Cavill has a natural spit curl and he looks more like Superman in those photos. (IMO.)

Cavill's hairline is fine, I don't think we'd have to worry about it until his late-twenties, early-thirties. Then it's time for Hair Club and Rogaine. :cwink::oldrazz:

Jimmy Johnson is envious of Reeve and Routh's hair helmets

So far I have seen no distinction between Clark's hair and Superman's hair. They look no different to me. I get that Superman's hair is supposed to be pulled back but he just doesn't look all that different to Clark. I suppose it doesn't help that they decided this Clark doesn't need glasses. :whatever:

I think some of us need to calm down. :)

I happen to think Cavill's hairline is receding and Snyder needs to account for that in the sequels. Reeve wore a wig and Cavill could too.

Only thing is, no matter how good, a wig doesn't look as good as a good hair transplant. Especially close up. That is why I even mentioned it.

For those of us who don't agree with me, good for you guys! I guess it's just a difference of opinion.

At no point did I say or imply that the movie would be less than awesome, or that Cavill would be less than awesome in it.

Wigs can look pretty realistic on film, especially with talented makeup people.

Hair transplant? That's probably a bad idea. Isn't that only for people who have already lost their hair? Cavills got some years left.

I actually like Cavill's hairstyle for this. It looks like a departure from the classic Superman.. which is what I want.

If we want to talk about ridiculous hair, let's all go over to the Amazing Spider-Man boards.

I think Christopher's Superman hair looked fantastic, but I have yet to see another actor be able to pull it off. I also didn't know he was wearing a wig. Brandon's hair as Superman really didn't look that good to be honest, it looked rather fake and lifeless with too much product.

No! I refuse to accept that yet. He didn't have glasses on when riding a bike around Metropolis, and he didn't have glasses on when he was coming out of a building in Smallville, or when he was younger and wearing that Kansas Uni t-shirt... But that doesn't mean he doesn't have them at all!

I mean, it just doesn't make sense.

If he's riding around in Metropolis in a shirt and tie, we can assume that they aren't just doing away with the duel persona and having him be Superman all the time or something stupid like that.

I guess we're just supposed to believe that he dons the glasses after becoming Superman, and in that scene he doesn't need a disguise yet

Unless the suit has some sort of magic power to make no one recognise he is Clark... Oh God... :(

Haha, it's eating you up on the inside, isn't it? :applaudI'd tell you not worry because it'll all be as it should, but I think you should sweat it a bit man. Bit of paranoid fear never hurt nobody. I hope the teaser in the summer does not reveal these details yet. You must remain in fear until the first proper trailer in late 2012. :word:
