This was my quote like 2 days after you first slept with her.
JAL honestly, while it's great to have fun and what not, you don't seem to "grasp" the concept of responsibility. Sex is a responsibility and I hate to sound like an after school special, if you think you are responsible enough to have sex, you should be responsible enough to think about STDs (you don't know how may guys this girl has banged) or the fact that condoms are not 100% proof.
And before you freak out on me, saying I'm making you paranoid. Most of us here who have had sex, have had a instance where we probably did something stupid while drunk like did bareback sex with a girl or slept with a girl of disreputable taste. But yeah if you are having sex, it's something you have to think about, and if this girl tells you she's on birth control make her get tested.
I don't see how he's not being responsible though, he wore a condom, he's going to the doctor with her. Sure, he's freaking out, but I think anyone on this board who isn't married and trying to have kids would be freaked out at this point. He did what comes naturally to couples in a relationship, had sex and through a stroke of bad luck is in the middle of a pregnancy scare. He's doing the mature thing though, he hasn't dumped her or anything, he's going to the doctor with her. What else is he supposed to do? I think everyone here wears a condom during sex and feels safe, sure there's a tiny chance it won't be safe, but I don't think that stops anyone.
