The Dark Knight Rises Ideas For Incorporating Characters Into the Nolanverse

I'm telling you, get Derek Mears for Bane, and get another voice actor to dub over him. Mears is by far the most thrilling, lethal, and vicious Jason Voorhees of all of his actors so far. He was a freakin' beast on the Friday the 13th Remake.

Get him in a gym to tone up, stick him in a tanning bed for a couple days, and you have Bane.

This movie was only one week in my country so I didn"t see it but the actor seems a good option.

I like your Bane idea but...

Who can play the role???

Please don"t say Vin Diesel HAHA
Where can you find a decent Bane?

I like bardem, the big guy from no country for old men, for bane. If age is an issue they can say he had been sent out as ras emissary in gotham, through him all his orders were given to crane in BB

ok, he looked huge in the movie, I still think he has the right voice for it, maybe dub his voice over another bigger actor, Im not a big fan of the new jason movie so I would rather they cast someone else instead of mears I mean if we are just casting someone cause they are big and not because of acting talent might as well cast kevin nash and dub his voice.

I really think the only way Bane would work is by pulling a Darth Vader. Im not willing to just find a big guy and hope he acts, and I think a lot of people arnt going to go for an average sized Bane. Bardem voicing with some big guy in the mask probably the best choice.

Yeah I know what you mean, we need to get james earl jones to do the voice. No but in all seriousness, we need someone with an iconic voice.

What if they showed a short clip of Batman capturing Hatter.
No mind control, but a freaky short moment. We see a woman on the floor and a gun in Tetch's hand. He sees her purse and we think he may be robbing her, but then we see his hand move for the hat that fell from her head.
If done right, the idea of a delusional killer with a hat fetish could be a short, shocking inclusion.

When I saw the Longest Yard remake with Adam Sandler I immediately thought the huge guy in that would, physically, make an awesome Bane.

Ok, I looked up his name: Dalip Singh Rana

If there's going to be another cameo villain, like Zsasz in Begins and the Scarecrow in TDK, I'd prefer it to be Firefly. He's not one of the best villains, but he's perfect in showing the escalation in crime in Gotham. I mean, he carries a freakin' flamethrower. How badass is that?

Also, since Batman is now considered a criminal and all, I'd like to see one of the fake Batmen from TDK helping out some criminals. This is nothing more than a little nod to Killer Moth.

what if Killer Moth was a bad guy, just becoming a protector of the Mob for a small fee since Batman is suspected as a killer or you could use him for another sequel.

mad hatter- A man with multiple personas and expert psychologist. He has studied human nature and human tendencies for years. He is very smart and inventive. He is possibly one of batmans most evil enemies. His tactics are simple. He gather followers through haitian voodoo. He uses the most impressionable people, being orphan youths. He gives them drugs such as heroin, meth, tobacco, and lsd to create a bond between them and him. He spikes all the drugs with a hint of blue flower, and a bit of testosterone(so they become more prone to violence). He feeds them and then begins brain washing them, creating an army of youths. He has created headsets from shock collars(dog collar), blu tooth headsets, mini video cameras, he straps them to the minds of his chosen leaders and creates a rank system in which the leaders have control. He gives them guns and weapons(baseball bats, axes, and so on), and forces them to commit crime and bring anarchy to gotham.

what do ya think?

It would be awesome to show firefly with an old wold war two flamethrower.

Well I was thinking he'd be little more than a cameo.

You had me until that.

well he would be you could just have him like bodyguarding the mob.

How about Mad Hatter? I'd have him as a weird crime lord who uses children to commit his crimes, sorta like Shredder in TMNT.

Not as a main villain though. As a sub plot villain who's story is wrapped up early on in the movie.

I choose Andy Serkis for the role. I think he could get that friendly/creepy/psychotic thing going. And I think he could bring a good look to the role too.

For the main villain I'd have Black Mask with Tom Hardy in the role. I think he is a great, great actor and although he is English I think he could pull off something special. He loves playing psychos, he could create something really evil and menacing I think.

A sadistic crime boss delights in torturing his own gang members to death if they fail. Also to enemies and victims of his fight for control of the remaining mob after Joker decimated it.

He get's extremely annoyed with Batman's constant interfering with his operations, breaking up drug deals and saving a rival mobster from a hit. He sends his men on offense, hunting Batman. Many men are defeated and arrested. This sends Black Mask even more mental.

I would also have the police as a villain if you know what I mean? Hunting Batman. Some of them would hold personal grudges about Batman and shoot on sight, despite Commissioner Gordons orders not to.

Gordon would be conflicted because he doesn't really want Batman caught, but has to show to the public and fellow officers he is doing all they can to bring Batman in.

Well the fact that Tom Hardy's English shouldn't really matter, as most of the main characters in the franchise are played by British actors.

MAN-BAT

Man-Bat could be incredible, playing into Bruce Wayne's deepest fear. Forget what Scarecrow did to him in Batman Begins, watching Batman go up against a Bat creature over the rooftops of Gotham would be amazing!

The only problem is seeing a scientist with an experiment gone wrong is just a tired and played out origin story.

I don't know if this has been thought of but one thing that a real Batman would have to deal with is maniacs out there who would become obsessed with him and want to be like him. And I was thinking what if an obsessed fanatic, maybe some other multi-millionaire who decides to use his millions to become a new kind of Batman, takes a scientist hostage forcing him to make him into a half man/half bat creature. It would be an experiment intentionally done, not an experiment gone wrong.

He loses his mind however, and becomes a raging bat creature that Batman has to stop despite being horrified of it.

Could be one incredibly awesome 3rd movie and just plain vicious!
Atleast it wouldn't be just another Batman movie with the same old villains.
who says he has to be a mutant?

remember the wild fighting costumes, in wayne's mansion, in BATMAN1989 ..... where knox and vale are wandering about ..... and they ask where he bought the japanese one??

LOOK AT THE WORLD WAR ONE OUTFIT!!!!
that would be a good start .....

saying no more

haitian voodoo is real tho, it's not something fake, im talking about making an army of zombies, not mythological zombies, zombies which are real, are pretty much mental slaves. look it up. they are controlled by a single person, it similar to hypnosis.

Serkis as the Mad Hatter is gold.

Andy Serkis as Mad Hatter is good casting but I also think Serkis can play an awesome Toad in the future X-Men reboot, once Fox loses the rights.
