Incredible Hulk director has been picked!

Johnathan Mostow for me or James McTiegue (V for Vendetta was awesome).

Besson is mainly producing right now and writing for one movie and he has one movie he directed in post production. He has the perfect schedule for the Hulk and I like him as the director but it is a longshot still.

My opinion on Elektra wasn't so moot when the movie bombed horribly.

So are we discussing Hulk's new director, Your lack of Ant-Man knowledge, or Elektra? You've completely lost me...

None of the above. Vile's just pulling the old "let me shift focus off the fact that im getting my butt kicked in the CURRENT discussion" routine. :D

And Advanced Dark just needs a butt to kiss so he can get some free party favors. But hey whatever.

So basically Marvel needs a director to make a dumb action movie for Hulk 2. Rob Cohen is probably the perfect choice. Or they could just get Rob Bowman instead.

So long it is not in the same continuity as the original suck fest we got, i don't care.

Watch it Vile One or I'll have to punk slap you at the Marvel Panel in front of Favreau. I'll then paste the gifs here. LOL ;)

I see them going the vague history route. Just letting pretty much all of the origin type stuff be done with.

Watching Firefly AGAIN last night i just thought, i would love Joss Whedon to direct Hulk 2, i honestly think i would have an orgasm if he was announced. He knows how to make you care for characters, and he knows how to get the most out of actors, CGI and the budget he is given, he would be perfect. But he is doing Wonder Woman and something else.

Heres some names that i've been thinking could be potentially directing this movie.

Joe Johnston - Was once set to direct the first Hulk movie before Ang Lee.He knows how direct big budget action an added bonus is that he's free plus he's won an Oscar when he was a visual effects supervisor.
Zak Penn - Has directed before and is writing the Incredible Hulk script.
Stephen Sommers - No matter what you think of him his movies have made tons for Universal.
Jonathan Hensleigh - Wrote a draft for the first Hulk movie and was also set to direct before Ang Lee came on board. Arad is a fan of the Punisher plus Hensleigh is married to Gale Anne Hurd, the producer of Hulk and Punisher.
Timur Bekmambetov - Is a big fan of the Hulk and has expressed an interest in directing.
Mark Steven Johnson - Has a good rep with Marvel havin directed Dardevil and Ghost Rider plus he knows the Hulk comics.
Joss Whedon - Someone Marvel want to work with on a future film. Arad and others have said this many times. Problem is he's doing Wonder Woman.
Gore Verbinski - Why not?

Joe Johnston. Interesting. I like it.

Zak Penn. Sorry but after Goyer I don't want to see it again. It seems like an overload for one person.

Stephen Sommers. Don't you ever say his name again. :o

Jonathan Hensleigh. I want him focusing on the Punisher sequel.

Timur Bekmambetov. Don't know much about the guy but if he is a big Hulk fan that is a plus.

Mark Steven Johnson. Great guy and director but for Hulk I dunno. Maybe. I would have to hear what he wanted to do.

Gore Verbinski. **** yeah. But like Besson...a longshot.

Jonathan Hensleigh wrote one of the s**test Hulk scripts ever, he should not be anywhere near the next film. Sommers sucks even more ass, and Zak Penn is doing something else.

Yeah it is but no one knows the script better than the writer. Its worked for other directors like M.Night Shyamalan.

Stephen Sommers. Don't you ever say his name again. :o
Sommers. There i said it.:p

He's been focusing on that for 2 and half years and we're still not any closer to the sequel.

Timur Bekmambetov. Don't know much about the guy but if he is a big Hulk fan that is a plus.
He directed the Night Watch movies. He knows how to work with effects on a shoe string budget.

I think he could do a good job.

Gore Verbinski. **** yeah. But like Besson...a longshot.
If Marvel don't try to ask, they'll never know his answer.Maybe he wants to do it?One can dream you know.:)
