Nevermind, it's actually a mistitled torrent for last week's episode. Sorry everyone.

I liked the way we came full circle with the continuity. They still got the symbiote's story right, but all the while they kept on reminding us about what really matters to Peter. As for Eddie, I'd say I found his motivation more coherent than the comics or the last half-baked film. They made it logical that he'd bond with the symbiote. As Venom, he's got three things going for him in this series: his lengthy history as Eddie, the symbiote's developments with Peter (to explain the differences), and good animation to show the extent of Brock's enhancement. If all goes well, the next episode will take advantage of all of that.

No flaws, no complaints. 10 out of 10.

I can't believe how good the Venom saga's been in this new show. They have done such a great job with the other shows but these have been superb!

This episode really stands out, they mixed the classic comics with the movie a bit for the flash backs and so on, and I loved in the last episode that they did something that wasn't in the old 90's series and of course not in that horrible movie, they had the symbiote take over as Peter slept, that was in the comics and I loved seeing that aspect finally brought to life, wonderful!

This show is way better than the 90's show and way better than the third horrible movie.

This is a four star show, I don't even mind Brock being a mix of Ultimate Brock and regular, usually I hate that, but out of the Ultimate crap to me Spidey was the only good one.

This really has done the Symbiote/Venom story right, it truly captured it.
Keep up the great work.

By the way, I am not 100% sure, I could be wrong. But the cathedral in this episode was, I think, Saint Damien's Cathedral. If you're familiar with Greg Weisman's past works, it was used as the setting for the final, climatic battle in the three-part "Hunter's Moon"

Coincidence, unfortunately. It was the only part of the episode I dislike. However, out of fairness, there was so much awesomeness packed into the episode, they didn't really have time for an explanation on why Spidey went the the belltower.

I like it. Lots of flashbacks, almost like a clip show, and yet it wasn't. I know some people aren't into that sort of thing, but I loved this episode. It wasn't just an origin, it was a character study. A very solid character study.

Was the symbiote deliberately bringing up those memories of Peter's origins to try and show him how the "responsibility" thing was screwed up from the start and it backfired, or was it Peter's own conscience/better nature bringing it up to counter the symbiote?

I do think the symbiote's been to other worlds and bonded to other beings before, otherwise why would it keep calling itself "we"?

I thought this as well, but I remembered peter had been unconscious during that time.

Really the coincidence thing didn't bother me here or in SM3 (eddie's transformation and seeing that pete was Spidey is what set me off.) However this is the best version of Venom so far and it might beat out 90s TAS

I really like the fact that this series is an on going story. its like a comic. every episode the characters are affected and it sticks to the story.

I just finished watching it (recorded), and I was absolutely blown away. One of the best, if not THE best episode of the series.

The only issues I had were Pete's mannequin arms (he looks like an action figure in some scenes) and how season 2 is ever going to top SSM's premier run.

Yea it was a wicked great episode, and i agree the church could possibly be the one someone was mentioning earlier. As for the church thing yea it does stink they didnt really have peter find out earlier about the sound weakness so it would see more logical and all that. But besides that it was a great episode. Also if any one gets a direct download link for the episode please pm me it ok, i have a friend who missed it and wants to see it ASAP.
