I don't know about Bane being Ra's but I also don't believe 100 percent that Ra's died on that monorail.

Remember when Ra's was training Bruce with the ninja's ! What did he say again !?

"You have to become an idea"

Maybe Ra's al Ghul is an idea. And the true immortality is if your idea lives on in others. If one truly understands the idea and concept of Batman, truly gets it, gets the sacrifce that must be made, understands what needs to be done. Can that person in essence not become Batman !?

Or in this case Ra's. I think Bane is the idea of Ra's and thus Ra's lives on by proxy.

But hey what do I know.
