Really good. It's like the Ultimate Edition DVD, menus and all, only in 1080p HD.
Nice. And from what I've seen in screenshot comparisons, it isn't cropped like the UE DVD was, and the gold subtitle from the PTS is restored. I have no idea why they did that on the UE DVD. I'm glad it's back to how it should be.

So can someone tell me where I can find each blu-ray and also when they will all be released? I don't feel like buying the big box, but would love to get a 6 or 7. Also, are there differences between the the blu-rays in the box set and the blu-rays in the single editions? Transfers, extras, etc.

That Adele song is all kinds of awesome. The video...not so much.

I don't think "tally ho" has been in use even among the fox hunting fringe since about 1920.

The only Londoner to use the term is probably Boris Johnson.

Anyone else watch the new documentary "The Untold Story of 007" that premiered on EPIX tonight? Good doc and ive learned a lot i didnt know about the franchise.

Its really cool. Goes all the way from when Ian began writing the first to skyfall. Interesting comment from Sam Mendes, when Craig was first hired for the part of Bond Sam Mendes made a comment in an interview that it was a terrible decision and mistake that would damage Craig's career. Lol and he went on to direct Craig.

Gets into the conflicts between Harry, Cubby, and Sean and the falling out of their friendships for a time. Includes interviews from the major players and audio of Fleming speaking too.

A fifteen minute special on Skyfall also premiered tonight and will be replaying later on EPIX.

Is anybody else going to have a Vesper

[Three measures of Gordon's (gin), one of vodka, half a measure of Lillet Blanc. Shake it very well until it's ice-cold then add a large thin slice of lemon peel.]

in honor of Bond's Golden Jubilee? From what I understand, its a dry martini that takes an acquired taste to enjoy.

:007

Gordon's is probably the plainest and least flavoursome branded gin on the market. I think it was probably comparatively good quality in the 1950s, but things have moved on. And then to cut it with vodka? Bizarre.

Does anyone think the music video looks like a karaoke video found on youtube?

Ok well I love the song. It's exactly what I wanted for a while with a Bond theme. A+

This is the end
Hold your breath and count to ten
Feel the Earth move and then
Hear my heart burst again

If you are going to go good gin go Hendricks, and they used crap vodka in the film as well "Smirnoff", get something like Tito's (one of the best vodka's ever). That would make a good Vesper Martini.

I'm picky about my spirits, being a liquor rep for 6 years I guess does that to you lol.

Considering the last few films had a lacking Bond theme, I was hoping they would go the more traditional route and I'm glad they did.

For me, the gin is Tanqueray and the vodka is Chase. Hendricks is nice, but the botanicals are more palatable in a G&T, to my taste.

James Bond ought to know better, really. It is one of the strange quirks of these movies being largely funded by product placement- it can make him seem really unsophisticated. Enjoy that Heineken Pissibier, 007.

Most people wouldnt know a top shelf beer if it hit them in the face. Nor do many care about liquor brand names. If it tastes good they will drink it. Brand name doesnt mean a whole lot to these people.
