Fans asked for it and for TODAY (11/24/2012) only, they got it! You won't find a better deal on getting all 22 films on Blu-Ray brand new anytime soon! :woot:

The duck & shoot pose is spiffy, but I prefer the Bond walking inside the gunbarrel poster.

Stunning box set and a high recommens. Normally I throw away package boxes and just keep the disks (to save space) but the packaging on this box is so nice I am keeping it. Also they leave a space for the Skyfall disk (that I will definately be buying).

Just a thought: What if Whishaw's Q is named "Quentin Boothroyd", and he's the "old Quartermaster"'s (Desmomd Llewelyn) grandson? I think that'd be a nice tip of the hat to fans, personally.

Sounds like the cartoon show James Bond Jnr.

Ha yeah I thought of that after I wrote it. But it wouldn't be an out-and-out call back, just if M or Tanner ever said "Boothroyd" or "Quentin" instead of "Q", I think it'd be a subtle nod to both the books and the show, as outrageous as it was :hehe:

Slightly OT, but can anyone tell me how the Blofeld trilogy, which used to be on shelves for a reasonable 25 dollars or so, is now in the hundreds?

Just got back from seeing it..loved it. Definitely Craig's best. What makes it a tad better than CR is the classic M office scene at the end between Mallory/Bond/Moneypenny.

The silhouette fight in Shanghai and the pre-title sequence were awesome.

Yes those were my favorite parts of the movie the silhouette fight was just really well done infact i enjoyed the whole Shanghai sequence. Skyfall crossed 200 million mark!! Here is hoping for 250!

$250 million is done, $300 million is the target now.

Loved Skyfall! Just saw it this past weekend.

As others have mentioned, I think they should bring back Quantum for the next film, and finally show the mastermind behind the organization. They need to cast an incredible actor for the role, although it will hard to top Bardem's performance. He was sooo good in this one!

But at least it could nicely tie up CR and QoS. I guess I'm in the minority, but I've loved all three of Craig's films, couldn't say that with the Brosnan ones. I thought those went downhill gradually from Goldeneye.

M's husband was shown in QoS (if memory serves me correctly); during the hearing she stated that her husband had died some time back. She tells Bond he's been in the game long enough now. These facts tell us that quite some time has past between QoS and Skyfall. I take it the Quantum organization has been vanquished.

M's hubby was seen in Casino Royale, asleep in the bed beside her. He is heard in QOS, when her phone rings and he calls and tells her it's her private line.

Not entirely. Quantum could operate, as M put it, "in the shadows;" it's after all made up of the richest people the world's never heard of. It would stand to reason that after the events of QoS they would scale back their operations, likely obscuring their operations through bankrolling other terrorists/terrorist organizations. I definitely see Quantum as a "shadowterrorist" organization. It's actually not that much of a stretch to theorize that Silva's actions in Skyfall were backed by Quantum. Hell, they could've even manipulated him during his "five months in a room with no air," playing on his ego and planting the seed of "M's betrayal" in his head.

My god the entire Shanghai sequence must've been one of my favourite parts in the film. Visually stunning and suspensefully paced. And that fight was *drool*

Where exactly did Eve shoot Bond? I thought his shoulder injury was due to the hitman firing on him during the train fight, hence the shrapnel in his arm.

I remember him saying something to her later about broken ribs thanks to her, but that might have been strictly due to the fall. The shoulder injury was definitely from Patrice, though, you're right about that.

That jellyfish silhouette fight. I was literally jittering in my seat with excitement it was so amazing. Deakins is just the man.

Visually, that fight was one of the franchise best.

I'm still drooling over the office in the final scene.....brought a tear to my eye.

Oh, yes. I was smiling like a fool when I first saw it. It was just glorious. I just saw it for a third time (in IMAX this time) and the last line gives me chills.

When the Aston Martin popped up, I had the biggest grin on my face. That scene was perfect.

I loved the ending as well. That goes equally with Casino for one of my favourite film endings.

The silhouette fight was awesome. Reminded me in concept of the Chang fight in Moonraker. Bond hanging from the elevator was a nice Bond moment too, with the added drama of him fighting to maintain grip due to his injury.

I thought M's last line was great too " At least i did one thing right".

Friends of mine took that as her being right in promoting him to 00 status to begin with.

I took it as her being right by putting him back on duty even though he failed all the tests.

I guess it can go either way..or both.

I figured she was just referring to placing her faith/trust in Bond in general, not any specific time that she exercised it.

Exactly what I thought. Bond in general is the answer, not any one specific incident. In this regard, she is his mother.

Loved the silhouette fight scene and Deakins of course did a great job on this film.

I was slightly disappointed in the fight scenes and coordination however.....they were not as good or as intense as Casino Royales fight scenes and coordination IMO.
