They seem to be implying the don't want Mendes back. That they want to change every film.

That's an arbitrary rule and there can be exceptions.. It's not like I want Mendes to pulls Glen or anything..

But from what I've read, Mendes was exhausted from the production so I don't know he wants to another in a row. Plus he did mention he's done all the stuff he wanted to do with Bond.

Clearly Nolan inspired Skyfall, but if you don't think he could out Nolan Skyfall, I think you are wrong.

I think he could do it well. I just hope he can improve on his fight scenes. The framing tends to br awkward and static even in the Bane/Batman fight. An stat away from Keysi! His car chases are fine though.

Also I hope they'll keep the same costume designer and Tom Ford. The tailored suits in The Dark Knight Rises look dated and baggy. If Nolan brought in the costume designer from Inception then we'll be ok.

Nolan's sensibilities fit Bond far more than Batman IMHO.

If he combines the fight scenes from Inception with the actions scenes from Batman, I think he'd kill it. I have really liked Bond's suits the last three films. Have they all been different designers?

"The Dark Knight Rises" clothing was done by none other than Lindy Hemming who use to design clothes for James Bond movies.

I can't really remember was was said at that point, but I don't think M's name was what was said...

is it possible perhaps that what WAS said was "Major DILEMMA, we need to get you out of here?"... or something along those lines?...

I liked that Bond didnt seem to care when Severine was killed. He knew the woman for like 12 hours so why would he care?

I actually think he seems to care although he wasn't going to be depressed about it.
I thought it was pretty obvious that the joke was a way to not show he was affected by it, but you could see he was affected.

I wish Skyfall had more Severine and less political stuff.

Sometimes Bond's cold nature makes him almost unlikeable, like in You Only Live Twice when the Japanese Lady is killed in the classic scene with the poison down the string and a couple of scenes later Bond is more concerned if his fake bride will be cute. Yes Bond, we get it, you bang them and move on but show some empathy.

Why are people speculating on a Nolan directed Bond? Why must we suggest Nolan for everything?

How about a Whedon-directed Bond? Q can turn into Topher from Dollhouse, Craig's Bond will probably become Adam Baldwin more than Nathan Fillion, Moneypenny will probably be Willow or Fred, and Ralph Fiennes' M will be Giles or Wesley. At least we'd get more focus on the Bond girl though, who would be written as a strong character but not the cliched "Bond's equal" schtick.
