The producers for Bind have already came out and expressed their that they don't believe the Bond movies are the right genre for 3D. I doubt the next Bind movie will be in 3D.
It's obvious she wasn't the main Bond Girl in the movie.
He was nominated for a SAG, which makes up a huge number of Academy Voters. That's very surprising. I didn't think Bardem would even be considered for a Best Supporting nom.
They seem to be a little trigger happy with these "For Your Consideration" ads. I mean, are they really pushing for a Supporting Actress nomination for Berenice Marlohe?
Or maybe they were thinking now they can increase that to even more with 3D. Turn $1 billion plus into $1.5 billion plus. But they haven't. At least not yet. Until then, we can assume that Bond won't be in 3D. There hasn't been a single spy movie in 3D anyway and most "realistic" movies aren't in 3D, which is what Barbara Broccoli mentioned in her interview. Bond is one of those franchises that wouldn't benefit from 3D not even on a gimmick level.
For a movie that made a billion dollars, they won't force 3D upon the producers or the director.
A lot of producers and directors have said things like this only to be overruled by the studio.
I think with the Broccolis and Bond, it's a bit different. Bond is pretty much all they do, isn't it?
Still skeptic they could change their minds about 3D eventually.
She can still be persuaded.
I wish someone would persuade her about shooting the next movie with IMAX cameras.
I want the director to persuade her.
