Nice one  It deserves it. Brilliant Bond movie.

Also anything influenced by The Dark Knight is bound to be a money maker :oldrazz: :cwink:

And if it wasn't for Batman Begins none of this would have been possible (Yes, including The Dark Knight)... :cwink: :oldrazz:

Come to think of it, if it wasn't for Batman & Robin then I think none of this would have been possible either... :hehe: :oldrazz:

This was probably my favourite film of 2012, so I'm glad it's hit the mark.

Villain getting captured on purpose = guaranteed winning billion dollar success.

That's good to hear because the history of James bond shows back-to-back good films are a rarity. In fact I'll go so far to say the Connery era is the last time successive films were deemed good/great. The tendency for the Bond series is to have one really good film followed by a series of mediocre films. I'd like to see that changed, if it means we get Bond every 4 years then that's fine by me.

I would say You Only Live Twice/On Her Majesty's Secret Service is the last time with two really good Bond films in a row. OHMSS was actually the sixth in a row. Since then we haven't even managed two.

Wait, so are you saying The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day wasn't the last time?

Now, to surpass TDKR's box office. Let's hope China can help push Skyfall past it.

Since it's going to be the only major "Foreign" movie released the weekend in China I. Wich it is supposed to be released, it may possibly could pass TDKR.

At least another $10-15 million from domestic, probably around $50-60 million from China, some more from holdovers. Yep, this movie is passing TDKR at least.

One thing that slightly bothered about me in Skyfall was
When Severine died and Bond didn't react or say anything.

I know Bond promises to protect women he hooks up with all the time and they usually end up dead but he didn't even seem to notice.

M talked about Bond using and losing women in Quantum Of Solace and him getting a bit more heartless after what happened with Vesper but I still would like it if he atleast looked like he cares when these women die.

Eh, let's be honest, it was one night he knew her. It wasn't incredibly meaningful. Just physical. He needed her to get to him, even if he promised he would help her get out of it, she didn't mean a whole bunch to him in the end.

It's like Bond has a poisonous penis. Once he ****s a woman, she dies soon after.

That's the nature of Bond. He cares little for the women he sleeps with and keeps a distance from most people except for a few people (M, Moneypenny, Q, Felix, Vesper, Tracy).

Well then Zod better give himself up to the United States armed forces in "Man of Steel"

I do like that they've inverted the recent cliches of villains being captured to the Hero being captured instead. Can't wait for MOS.

And get interrogated. And have a mouth related disfigurement. Then have a very extravagant escape.

He does care for them, because we've seen him risk his life for them during most films.

Craig's Bond is less caring than any other from the series, being more darkly written of course . But I reckon his new attitude at the end of Skyfall will show us a slightly lighter side to him.
