James Bond In Skyfall - Part 3

Fassbender could be great; I just wonder if his Bond would be too similar to Craig's.

Fassbender would be a good choice, but the chances of that happening are slim. It's looking like Craig will be on board for Bond 24 has he rightfully should be.

I hope they go back to a dark-haired Bond after Craig.

I really don't mind where he is on the spectrum of dark-blonde.

As long as he isn't ginger or anything like that.

It's most likely he'll go back to being dark-haired.

Statistically, that is likely as there are more dark haired than blonde actors.

For sure, I think Craig is doing a very very good job on the character. Casino Royale was a blast to watch. I hope Skyfall could recapture some of the charm from that movie.

Fassbender is still young, so I think he has a shot after Craig hangs up his tux for good in the future. However, I really like Craig as well so I'm good with either actor as Bond.

My ideal choices would be Fassbender and Henry Cavill.
Cavill may be a long shot though, because fans would go ballistic if he were Bond AND Supes.

How about Christian Bale then? :cwink:

Btw, it does seemed like more and more superheroes are played by British actors, doesn't it?

He's only 35 so yeah there's still time

But yeah his big Bond audition in "X-men First Class" sold me

And I would be interested to see how Matthew Vaugn would handle a James Bond movie.

Even when a hypothetical Bond 25 or 26 would come out Fassbender wouldn't be that old. Totally doable. But for now, lets stick with Craig. I'm immensely excited to see what he does with a fully formed Bond.

I wouldn't mind Dominic Cooper playing Bond in the future either.

I'm happy with Daniel at the moment. But that dude who played Zeus in Immortals I think could do it.

Personally I would go back to the more Fleming inspired look. Taller, leaner, etc. Ya know, more in the Dalton/Brosnan mold (I use them bohb because too me they "look" most like the character)

Whoever is the best at acting but has a certain look. Can't be in his 20's. Early 30's may even be stretching it. Mid to late 30's I would think.

There any Fassbender Bond trailers on youtube using First Class? Because you have great material right there to make a fake trailer with him.

Oh, God, I just found a quite hilarious CR one with Fass as Craig's Bond and McAvoy as Vesper. :funny:

I can actually see Fass as Bond maybe after Craig is done Fass can take over if not as Bond maybe as a Villain

Michael Fassbender is the ideal choice to replace Daniel Craig. He's a throwback to `60s Bond. If you liked him in "X-Men" then wait till you see him in "Shame." Even when playing a pervert he can charm the pants out of anyone.

People need to realize that the reason why the Bond franchise has lasted 50 years is because of diversity. You need to shake it up in order to keep it fresh. After Daniel Craig's tough-as-nails Bond, you need someone who'll return the character to its British gentlemen roots. And, Fassbender is the guy for the job.

Update #2 in my Bond marathon:

Saw Goldfinger, which I thought was a mixed bag. Some things worked and some other didn't. The Goldfinger character is interesting, however. I think there was something missing in the movie, specially in the second half.

I think Thunderball was the most entertaining for me so far. It was just fast paced adventure, and the plot was much clearer and easy to follow. I don't know, I was invested in it the whole time. Even the locations were great. The ending was a little bit anti-climatic, but the underwater fights were very well done. I think the movie holds up pretty well today.

You Only Live Twice tomorrow!

It goes all downhill from there. You've just completed the golden age of Bond.
