She'd be about the fourth of fifth black Bond girl I think. Definitely the thinnest though.
i meant for modern time. i know that she is not the first one.

yes she is very skinny. to bad hollywood.

Modern time? Halle Berri was recent.

Other than Berry and now Harris, who have been the other Black Bond girls?

And Harris does look thinner then the last time I saw her, which was when she was promoting Ninja Assassin.

How can you forget Grace Jones FFS!? Even tho technically she was a villain

Gloria Hendry I believe was the first in Live and Let Die. There may have been one other but my memory is a bit fuzzy.

A Bond girl is a Bond girl, be it villain or heroine.

All news is excellent so far- is it possible to bugger it up from here? Surely not.

she was a villain, I don't count her as such.
Everyone who sleeps with bond is upgraded to the status of bond girl :D but I agree, to call Jones a "girl" is wrong... she should be called Bond Woman ;)

The title sounds interesting, more action soundy.

EON and all the makers behind Bond count all the girls as Bond girls, otherwise you'd have to discount Sophie Marceau, Luciana Paluzzi, Caroline Munro, Rosamund Pike and any other Bond girl who was bad.

Exactly.

Anyone seen this before or is it old?

Is Agent Eve just a cover story the film makers are feeding us for now, and she really is Moneypenny?

If she's taking all this stunt training then i'm sure she's a field agent.

But the theory is that Moneypenny's first name is Eve, and that she starts out as a field agent but later becomes M's secretary (or whatever more inflated title M wants to give her).

It's impossible to have a female character who isn't at the heart of the action/the equal to Bond etc etc etc etc nowadays. It's just the rules. Remember that hotel concierge in the Bahamas? She would have kicked 007's ass. Mathis' mistress? Secret Ninja.

What about Vesper? She was definitely not an action oriented character.

I don't think Harris will end up being Moneypenny, although if it's a cover up, then I say good show.

She put Elvis in a neck brace. That gotta' count for something.

Neither do I; Moneypenny's not really a character worth covering up. There's not much there, just a fun flirtatious banter scene in each film.

Wouldy that be a downgrade from being a skilled field agent to..a receptionist who longs for Bond? If she is Moneypenny they will have to modernize her because MP is probably the most 60's-ish of the Bond characters.

All the more reason to actually do something with her, or else why bother? Craig mentioned a couple years back that he intended to revisit these familiar characters and tropes, but not out of obligation. He wanted purpose.
