James Bond In Skyfall - Part 5

On a different subject, has anyone watched those Bond documentaries that come as part of these DVD features, all narrated by Patrick Macnee? Were any made for Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace? It only seems to go up to Die Another Day.

Frankly even I am quite surprised. My jaw hit the floor when I read that link. Aliens, powers, huge coordinated skyfall all over earth. The SFX budget must have been a lot more than we thought. Bond with powers does sound cool though.

It's funny. I've not really followed any news, and had NO idea about any rumor. But as soon as I saw it and "confirmation" I just knew what it would be, and wasn't surprised at all to see I was right. If it's that easy to guess (if you could call it that), then I don't think it qualifies as much of a spoiler.

I can understand why. Bond has been around for long enough that people have stereotyped the character. Just as Dracula has a receding hairline, a cape with an oversized collar, and vants to sack your blaad; so Bond has a tuxedo, a Martini and a bimbo with a name like Tania Suxkok on his arm.

The current movies are great for re-expanding the character.

To be fair I didn't mention spoilers because the site gives you plenty of warnings that it's a spoiler and gives you enough time to avoid reading further.

Indeed. Just because Heineken are with the films (they were a partner with CR as well, and Bond orders his martini in that film) the press want to make things newsworthy and say he's ditching his trademark martini altogether.

If Silva does it, that would give him some high villain reputation in the series among what other things he's bound to do. Their final showdown would be highly charged and personal.
