I was in here a couple of months ago defending her acting, I hadn't watched the movie in a few years, but I did recall finding nothing wonky about her acting at all. So, tonight I put the movie on, mainly to see if I had faulty memory syndrome, and no, my opinion remains the same, I just don't see anything wrong with Denise Richard's acting in The World is not Enough!?
Why do so many Bond fans attack her performance? It really baffles me, there is nothing wonky about her performance at all, sure, physically there is, who wouldn't, especially in that tank top get up, but I am taking a break from wonking for a while as I have a big fight coming up.
But anyway, I don't know, maybe people don't think she fits the mould of a nuclear physicist, or they are jealous that they don't look as good in a tank top or what, but she was good in the film, and yes, I do think I'd still be of that opinion if I was gay, this is not a wonkavision thing.
Anyway, not really trying to start up a discussion, I just wanted to say that I was baffled, and my opinion on her still held up after all these years, again not for that reason, for arty reasons.
