Man those are some wicked sweet photos. And great info from that french mag. This film is shaping up very nicely.

This is going to be one of the best Bond movies of all time. All I see and hear inspires that hope.

Have there been any new photos of Bardem recently?

Two things: 1, this movie will be wicked, and 2, that is just a damn fine suit Craig's wearing in front of the Aston. Love the silhouette.

For the most part this more looks almost surreal in its coolness. Almost like a daydream of what you think Bond film should be. Which is why I am going to avoid getting my hopes up.

There seems to be an update on Skyfall's IMDB cast list.

Apparently Fiennes is playing a character by the name of Gareth Mallory.

Albert Finney is playing Kincade.

The cast list was leaked out in March

Or IMDB just followed the rumored cast leak

How many people within the GA know of the action army and colt? I'm willing to bet more of them are familiar with the walther ppk. As for what it's fitting for, I was referring to the fact that SF marks 50 years since Dr.No which just so happens to be the film Bond begrudgingly is forced to adopt and use a ppk.

Anyone who has ever played Red Dead Redemption or seen pretty much any western... ever. When you think the weapon of a Cowboy, it is the Single Action Army.

I couldn't care less about how functional and/or relevant the PPK is in real life. That's why James Bond is great fiction.

As Bond runs around with a rifle. :woot:

The new pics look very promising. Where did the promo shots originate from (not the scans)?

Amazing pictures. Just beautiful. I can't not get excited about this.

Interview with Ola Rapace about the filming and his part.

Who is Patrice?
- He is a man who does not speak so much. He delights in the violence and he loves to be in control. He likes to play with violence, he likes to hunt humans. It's quite liberating to play a villain. He does not pretend to be nice, he just does his job. He is practical and shows no emotion.

How does him and Bond fight?
- Bond chasing me, first on a motorbike and then we jump down on the roof of a train and continue to fight there. We're shooting parts of this here in Adana, then we film more in Istanbul. It is supposed to look as if everything is set in Istanbul.

Are you still going on about his Gun??

I keep forgetting he's in this, he's competent in Tillsammans and Svinalängorna (I'm surprised Mendes watched the former) but other than that I haven't much that impresses me, but at least his role in this will have a kickass sequence fighting against Bond.

EDIT: The pics that has been released, hot damn. :wow:

Bond in Shanghai?

Notice the Pearl Tower. I went there in about 2000.

Question. Did they really go to Shanghai? Or did they just use a backdrop like when Bond went to "Hong Kong" in Die Another Day"

You could easily tell the Hong Kong backdrop was fake when Bond came out of the water.

Then the rest of the time it was Pinewood studio for the hotel

I know they've been saying Bond visits Scotland,Shanghai and Turkey but did Daniel Craig actually go?

For the past few months it's been nothing but London with small bits of Scotland

Location shooting does count is it finicially able to go to, would they be allowed to do x things for scenes, etc.... now its sweet when films do go to the real locations. Make it feel more real. But some times it might not bbe the most logical thing to do.

Not really a great dramatic actor, but I'm sure he'll do fine as a silent, physical henchman. I think he has the charisma and the looks for it.

Who's the guy on the police motorcycle?

Who's the guy on the police motorcycle?

Swedish actor Ola Rapace.

And he was married to Noomi Rapace a slight connection to the "Prometheus" SHH thread :)

He was convicted of drug offences in March 2009 after admitting taking cocaine.

I wonder if Noomi Rapace's "naughty salt" comments weren't just talk

lol i'm playing "Six degrees of..." here

Anyone spot the broken Police bike windshield?

is that berenice marlohe in the window on the other side ?
