Favourite Bond Film Cinematography
I don't have clear favorites in this regard, but I'm going with You Only Live Twice (Freddie Young), which does stand out as one of the more beautiful in the series.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service, although Goldfinger is close behind.

Both of these x 1,000,000,000.

Though I have You Only Live twice as my #2 soundtrack.

Definitely, You Only Live Twice has a great score and a great, pretty underrated theme - an atypical one for the series, much mellower and more haunting than usual, but so great.

My Bond knowledge is far more limited then most of you. I was never a huge fan of Bond before Craig, with a few exceptions. Those exceptions are all Connery classics. Casino Royal is my favorite Bond film. I enjoyed QoS more then most but it's nothing special just a good action flick. Ive seen several Bond films outside of Craigs and Dr. No is my favorite one. I also really like You Only Live Twice and Goldeneye (though I think overall Brosnan was the worst Bond.) Based on my knowledge my list would go like this...

I will say, in the non-action sequences at least, Quantum of Solace has some great photography.

I'll say that whatever people think of Moonraker, it has a great John Barry score. The only slight problem in it is that the 007 theme is too slow for that chase down the river sequence leading to the hang glider.

Best version of the 007 theme for me is From Russia With Love, although they are quite good arrangements in Thunderball and YOLT. I wish they would bring back that classic theme, but probably unlikely since Barry is dead. I wish he featured it in The Living Daylights.

Daniel Craig is easily my favorite Bond.
Although it is fair to note that the early films of Connery didn't have enough depth to explore the character like most modern movies. I'm sure that if Connery had a good script to support the character, he could've been the definitive Bond, so he's a close second for me.

Your favorite Bond aside Connery is the definitive Bond... I'm not sure that ever changed. Doesn't mean that Craig can't be your fav. or even suprass Sean in the long run.
