That's another thing I dislike about Brosnan's movies: he can settle everything with an AK or an Uzi. Being outnumbered is meaningless, and he never really needs to think his way out of a tight spot. Combined with his bland delivery and mediocre physical acting, it makes him seem like an effeminate Terminator.

Haha what? Did you not see the opening of GoldenEye? He managed to think his way out of the Chemical plant well enough.

The final cover, and some new photos from BOND ON SET - FILMING SKYFALL.

I love the pictures!

I agree with both of you. Sure enough, he improvises a lot in Goldeneye, but in the movies after, Brosnan's Bond relies more and more on gadgets, which has to do with lazy writing than Brosnan.I also disagree about his Bland delivery.

Too be fair that is one scene in 4 movies and he does machine gun his way through a lot of it. But I can't complain too much, because I love that scene. :yay:

Brosnan wasn't in The Living Daylights, though.

No, but he was originally cast in that before he had to drop out because of Remmington Steele. There were even publicity shots of him with TLD logos. I'm saying that around that time Brosnan was rather thin and almost svelte, which is not a description you want to use for Bond. Maybe a Bond girl, but not Bond himself.

Just saw the new Skyfall trailer, and this looks really good, really high stakes and what look to be amazing action scene's, great cast too, cant wait!

That shot of the lanterns would be awesome if the watermark wasn't there.

the Craig camera shot is comical

Personally I always like bronson bond cause he was one I grew up with as a kid. Though my perfer one is conery. And moore I never cared for his when I was a kid but warmed up to his bond since growing up. And craig been solid bond.

Sad news in the world of Bond:

Composer Marvin Hamlisch, who did the score for The Spy Who Loved Me, died.

These last two pages were priceless. Discussing which actor essentially looks meanest ... or mean enough to play Bond.

The way I see it is they are all to varying degrees interpreting Bond in a certain way.

I knew someone would respond with that, and I was going to note it as an exception. In truth, however, everything else in the movie indicates that Bond need not have thought on his feet, since just pointing the AK at the enemy and pulling the trigger always wins.

rip to the bond composer. Also someone mentioned earlier of bronson promo images for tld any one have there pics? would love to see them.

Ah. When you mean it that way, then yeah, Brosnan was incredibly skinny, which makes me wonder why fans wanted him for Bond so badly.

The machine gun did all the thinking for him ; )

:funny:

I loved the Bond '77 track.

It was cheesy awesome. I love Bond '77.

That's what I'm pretty much trying to say, but DS tend to love comparing everyone and everything to Daniel Craig's Bond.

I think he had to do some improvising, like shortening the time of the bomb and finding a way out (in one of the most awesome ways).

The tanks scene was another case of improvisation on Bond's part.

They're quite rare but someone probably knows where to find it because it's fairly known as well. I did a search on Google but couldn't find it. It's basically a Remmington Steele-looking Brosnan with a TLD clapper board or something like that.

I believe it pertained more to who pulled off a more authentic tough guy look. :oldrazz:

Ah ok dark thanks for info would still be curious to see it. If any one has a link to it.

R.I.P Marvin.

I love Nobody Does It Better. Great song.
